He condo was beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay. Weren’t as happy with the pool area. Looking out to the ocean through the white fence was not as nice.

The condo worked well for us. The furniture in the main living area really needs to be cleaned. There was also a prong stuck in one of the outlets, we turned the electricity off to get it out. We tried to fix the trash drawer because if you are not paying attention when you pull it out it falls on your foot.

Beachfront Bliss”

My family of 7 including adult children stayed here early June. Everything was as described. The oceanfront balcony and the Bayside balcony were great to sit at either to watch sunrises or sunsets. The amenities are awesome and it almost reminds you of a smaller resort. We used the fitness center, the sauna, and the activities outside. We had drinks at the tiki bar, swam in the refreshing pool and really enjoyed the proximity to the beach. The unit is spacious, clean, and properly stocked.

Perfect beach getaway

Family summer beach trip. Lots of space with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Easy check in and check out. Loved being so close to the beach, having two pools to pick from and the bar/restaurant was perfect for lunch breaks. Location is excellent as well, lots of great restaurants a short drive away. Great trip!

The condo was just as beautiful as the pictures and the ocean view was great. My only comment is I wish we could check in earlier. Overall it really was an awesome clean space.

Grapes & cookie crumbs under loveseat.A.C. sounds like a truck starting rear bedroom ac was very poor. On check in our $75 parking space was occupied until 4:35 which after a 6 hr drive was aggravating. Had an unexpected fire drill.No Gus coffee shack.

Moms weekend away

Our weekend was very relaxing. The condo was perfect. The only negative was that it was a little too far from everything but still wasnt a deal breaker! I plan to rent again for my family next summer!

Great stay with one very SERIOUS exception.

Condo is lovely, good size for a family. Unit was cleaned upon arrival. Coffee pot does not work. Coffee pods side did work. Furniture on the deck is the worst ever. Hard and uncomfortable. There are SERIOUS issues with the Saturday check out/check in process. The elevators for a 22+floor building are literally shut down for 3 hours. People climbing stairs with luggage and carts. Elderly people struggling to get to their units. If you are a guest on the beach and need to get to your unit you can’t without accessing the dirty, smelly stairs. People with any physical liabilities are out of luck! An ADA nightmare for sure. For that reason, and that reason alone we will never return.

First Time Vrbo User

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our first time using Vrbo to book a stay & our first time in OCMD. The accommodations were exactly as described & we were able to relax. The additional property accommodations of the tiki bar, ice cream shop, mini market & recreational activities made the stay that much more enjoyable. Communication with the host was timely leading up to our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Weekend birthday getaway

Took my 12 year old daughter to OCMD for her 12th birthday to celebrate with 2 friends and family. Condo was beautifully decorated and well maintained. Perfect location for both ocean views and Coastal Hwy views…even got front row seats from our balcony for the Christmas Parade. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Weekend with Friends

The apartment is lovely and clean and was perfect for 5 adult women. I was looking for 5 adult beds no bunk beds and this one was perfect. The location is great and the beach is lovely. We stayed for a long weekend and wished we had had more time. Everything worked well ( but the sliding door could use a little oiling as it sticks a bit. Not unexpected with salt and sand about) We had one incident I only mention because it could be a safety concern. It was particuarly windy this past weekend and we has the slider open because it was warm and sunny. When someone arrived and opened the front door the wind came through with such force it blew a mirror off the wall and it crashed in the hall. So be aware if it’s windy the slider must be closed before opening the front door. If someone had been standing there they could have been hurt. I felt really bad but we didn’t know about the wind tunnel effect. Everything else was wonderful. Check in was easy and the Golden sands staff was very nice. Would absolutely rent this apartment again.

The condo was beautiful. It was so clean and spacious. The property was great-beautiful outdoor pool, large deck with Tiki bar and plenty of tables and chairs, tennis courts, easy access to the beach. Everything was perfect! We would definitely rent this condo again!
