Great hotel in the downtown area
This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here. It’s a lively small hotel. My only issue is the valet fees. If you don’t valet your car it is guaranteed to get broken into. I think the fees were about $80 day (with in and out privileges). That’s a lot to add on everyday. Other than that, it’s a great hotel

Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice experience. We would stay here again when visiting Oakland. Every member of staff went above and beyond. Room was modern, clean. Great shower. Bed was OK. The staff went to pains to tell us about the $50+tax valet fee and the $20 breakfast so there were no surprises. Breakfast offered 4 full set meals or the buffet. Liked the location - only 2 blocks from Broadway.
