"Was traveling during move from Baltimore to Atlanta and needed somewhere to rest mid route. A few restaurants around, gas station, etc nearby. Room was ok for what I expected at pricepoint. The lady working the desk on the morning of July 19th would get several raises and promotions. Forgot my work laptop and bookbag in the room while carrying my wife's stuff. Considering I'm moving for a work transfer-not good. Additionally when we were leaving before returning for my bookbag, she offered the items for breakfast that were already prepared-wasn't time for breakfast yet so we could eat before we left for our new home. Hopefully none of this is against standard or policy because she saved the day and went above and beyond multiple times. That's customer service!"

"Great place to vacation for our family of 14; 6 adults and 8 kids 1yr to 12 years old. House was very spacious, especially the main level which included two large dining tables which comfortably sat 8 people. Kitchen was very well appointed with more plates, glasses and utensils than any place we have stayed in past 7 years. Also 2 pot coffee makers, a Keuric, 2- 4 slice toasters and every cooking pot and utensil you could need.The temperature every day during our visits was 90 degrees and humid so the newly covered dock with 2 ceiling fans was a salvation. The 8 grandkids had Great time on the water trampoline. And who knew that the large connect 4 game on the screened in porch would be such a hit….resulting in a single elimination tournament that include all but the 1 and 3 year old.Everyone in our group had a great time and the host Shannon was very congenial and responded immediately to any questions. We are hoping to return next year!"

"We had a wonderful week in this lovely, spacious home. There was lots of room for the twelve members of our family, ages 3-86 to spread out and have fun. When not in the lake the kids spent most of their time in the home theater while the adults enjoyed chatting and reading in the many gathering spaces. The house is situated on a cove off the main lake and provided a safe spot to frolic in the water. Some of our group ventured out to the main lake in paddle boards and kayaks. Our fishermen (and lady and kids) caught plenty of fish including a couple of keeper catfish which we enjoyed for dinner. Elle, the owner was quick with responding and solving a couple of problems. We messaged her in the evening about the dock ladder that had come unfastened and arrived early the next morning with a new and improved ladder that she installed. We definitely recommend this home for a great family vacation. "
