We spent the night in a room (203) with a broken bed - when we shared that with the front desk at check out - no apologies or attempt to accommodate us in any way were offered- just that the room was already assigned for that night and they would need to fix it for the next customer.

Lovely Weekend Escape

Parking may be a little tough due to people dining at the nearby restaurant, but dont let that deter you. Great service, lovely lobby with handmade boat, nice Keurig coffee bar, and a back entrance to the boardwalk/dock. The king room was roomy and comfy, and the shower was huge. Access to the restaurant is a breeze (and it's worth visiting - the food was delicious and the service top-notch).

We enjoyed our stay at Smithfield Station very much. The only negative is that there was road construction on the bridge / approach to the hotel so traffic was limited to one direction at that time. Other than that - perfection! We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful weekend at Smithfield Station! The staff was warmly welcoming and checking in was a breeze. Our room on the 2nd floor had a balcony with chairs that overlooked the Pagan River. It was so peaceful to watch the birds flying about and listen to the sounds of nature. We slept well because the bed so comfortable and cozy. Everything was beautifully thought out and well taken care of. We went to the bar for drinks, and everything we ordered to eat in the restaurant was simply delicious. We will be back!
