There was pubic hair on several surfaces, including the night stand, bathtub and toilet. My daughter said she saw a toenail next to the bed. The staff were very friendly and nice, especially the lady running the breakfast. The facility needed a lot of repairs and cleaning. I felt $100 a night was way too much to pay to have to cleanup some else’s pubic hair before using the toilet, bathtub or setting my phone on the nightstand.

Check in was not welcoming and the lobby very cold. Clerk didn’t know if they used down bedding and also said there were no king beds in any of the rooms. Entire staff seemed depressed.

Parking lot was dirty, it is winter but snow removal was piled in strange places, room had rusty connections showing in bathroom and several patches to wall that needed paint. Hall had holes outside elevator. Next to river but that is only positive. For the money I would stay elsewhere.

Room 217 bathroom had a horrible must moldy chemical smell. Black mold on bathroom ceiling. Friends of ours staying on first floor also had a horrible musty moldy chemical and sewage smell. We ended up leaving early and going elsewhere.

Room was clean and comfortable. Like that the window opened a little for fresh air. The hvac system didn’t smell musty, like they often do. Staff was friendly enough, even gave me a late check out. Affordable, had what I needed and nice.

The property upkeep seems to be deteriorating. I have enjoyed staying here for many years, however will be contemplating other options in the future. The room assigned for this stay had a strong odor like it had been smoked in and the hotel was trying to cover it up with a deodorizer, or similar. Quite disappointing. The bathrooms are also needing so attention. Again, has been a favorite in the past but is now not well maintained. Pool was out of order again also.
