We upgraded to an executive suite which had poor maintenance a double electric socket beside the bed came away from its back box when used black mould around one of the bathroom fittings somewhat tired and neglecting in a good modernisation the staff were very attentive and good the breakfast needed more care to detail burnt potatoes onion skins left and onion fried eggs or fried hard the bar was clean. The drinks were reasonable and well laid out.

We stayed for 1 night yesterday, bed and breakfast. Location great, plenty of parking (£15 discounted rate for hotel guests 24 hours), staff helpful, hotel clean and breakfast was lovely. Well worth the money.

Room, especially bathroom, was dated, beds comfortable but noisy heating, no plugs by beds, no extractor fan in bathroom so dealing with excessive steam from shower, limited tea and coffee supplies. Expected a little more for the price. Nice river view though.

Super clean, although some aspects are more traditional. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Continental breakfast was a bit dry-looking and I would remove the berries personally, as they didn’t look appealing. Nice view of the river and decent location. Can’t fault the staff or parking as it was very convenient. Near bars, restaurants and walkable to the centre in 15 mins. I would stay again, although it was a bit too warm in my room and I had to turn the heater off as it kept clicking.
