Horrendous. Avoid at all costs.

£200 per night to get the massive heavy shower head under pressure to smash me across the head first thing in the morning. Doesn’t appear to be any way to regulate the heating. Air conditioning panel is showing error E04 and doesn’t work. We turned the thermostat all the way down when we arrived but it had no effect. The windows in the bedrooms do not open meaning we couldn’t regulate the temperature at all. Because of the heat, we didn’t get enough rest. We told the duty manager how hot it was but it didn’t get fixed during our stay. Key cards constantly broke meaning we kept getting locked out of our room. Hotel offered us a disingenuous complimentary breakfast in a different building, only a couple of hours before our check-out time, when we still had to pack and had already made breakfast plans.

Poor experience one off or lack of staff???

The hotel seems to have lost staff members which they havent replaced as a result when you get to the hotel there was no one available to help with parking where as in the past this was dealt with by very helpful concierge staff. I was then queuing back to the main entrance for half an hour plus to check in albeit they had a large work party checking in but this could have been dealt with separately and organised away from the reception area if planned correctly and more reception staff on duty.

Vermont Hotel - looks great, but not great

Entering it and the bar area are lovely. The rooms are very dated and small compared to other hotels in the area. Bed I thought was very hard and pillows far too soft! Also, you can't use contactless payment for the pre-authorisation and as I had no physical card on me, they sent a link for a a pre-auth of £250. If you have a physical card, it's £50. Very dated way of doing things.

A nice hotel in great location but parking extremely limited. Disappointed I had to pay for drinking water in the room as I don’t drink tea and coffee . Drinking water should be complimentary Nice room though.

Lovely apartment

The apartment itself was really good. It was spacious and clean and had a fully fitted kitchen. The location was good for what we needed however it was a noisy area on a Saturday night. The only bad points were the WiFi did not work on our floor (we were on floor 2) and the TV was not a smart TV and didn't have a casting device either. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

No walk-in showers in this hotel

A large traditional hotel in a convenient location but the description on Hotels.com misleadingly says “shower”. Although it is true that the bathtubs have a shower attachment, there is only one walk-in shower in the entire hotel, in the Presidental Suite. In addition, although the hotel says it has several restaurants, in fact on a very quiet evening in January only the bar was open

The staff here are amazing and very attentive in particular Bradley from reception, Drew, Megan and Joseph from the bar also The guys on reception at the aparthotel as I was moved there due to Expedia mixing up the booking. The hotel however looked after me so it did not impinge on my stay which was great!
