I will not book this hotel again. While they are right next to an international airport the services they offer could be described as lacking. There is no restaurant on premises, so you can’t really order food from the hotel. There’s no shop where you can get a bag of peanuts or a bottle of water or essentials, like let’s say a toothbrush. There are vending machines which are half full. There isn’t anything really within a short walking distance. If you want food you can order from local restaurants, which seem to have lowest Yelp rating possible. The hotel does serve breakfast, but they only start at 6 am so if you are flying out on an early flight you are out of luck. It is just a below average service here. A lady at the front desk acted like she did me a huge favor by answering my question about their shuttle service and in general acted like I was interrupting her magnificent performance of a exquisite brain surgery she was conducting in the backroom before I rudely interrupted.

Right from the get-go it was the staff!!!! I was traveling with my 7 year old grandson for the night from central New York. He was traveling back to Texas as an unaccompanied minor the following morning. When I called my son to have him transfer the security deposit money, we agreed that he would pay for me having to bring his son to Newark from central NY for him, which he was all set to do. The gentleman working the front desk registering heard me talking to my son on the phone and told me not to worry about the security deposit. That he trusted we wouldn't do any damage. It was 10:30pm at night and we would be leaving to go to that airport at 6am. I was ready to pay. But what this man did though was amazing!!! The bed was soft and cozy. I slept all night through, which is rare when I stay at a hotel. There was a free shuttle bus to the airport which runs every 30 minutes. I was able to use the shuttle getting to the airport with my grandson and once he was in the sky I was able to get a shuttle back to the hotel. It saved me so much stress by not having to drive my own vehicle and have to worry about parking at an unfamiliar airport. This was the first time my grandson traveled by himself and it won't be his last. I will continue to use this same hotel on spring st going forward every visit 😊

The room was dirty and smelled and the carpet was sticky. There was a loud creepy African religious event going on and people were screaming and running around the hotel barefoot. There was no breakfast left by 9:00 and the shampoo and lotion and conditioner and soap are in Dove bottles but I have Dove products and I compared them and there is no way they are actually Dove. Staff was dismissive and seemed irritated just to check us in Never again! Disgraceful for $300!’

I did not choose other hotel options because they did not offer breakfast. However, the breakfast at this hotel was unfortunately insufficient. For example, cream cheese was available on some days but not on others. Items such as eggs and bread were very limited and often ran out. During the holiday period, the hotel was very crowded. The toaster was very small, so people had to wait in line. When I asked for hot water for tea, I was told that the machine was broken. Some of the staff in the breakfast area and some of the drivers were really rude. The room was clean, and I had no issues with that. However, overall, I was not satisfied with the service quality. I did not leave the hotel happy and would not choose this hotel again.

My flight and many others’ flights were cancelled because of the weather, thus a rush for hotel rooms. I booked online based on price and experience with the brand. Room was clean and all one could want or need. Breakfast was very good. However, there was only one person on the desk checking in and she was a bit frazzelled and “remote” , technically complete with instructions and information BUT SHE WAS OVERWORKED. Also, the pickup shuttle from the airport did not arrive, I phoned and the desk person said “he on his way” . He wasn’t. Finally another hotel’s shuttle took pity on me and two others, that shuttle had seen me twice waiting for Holiday Inn Express and took us all in that hotel’s shuttle. He was very kind. I am 82 yr old, it was now dark and cold, and thus I was most grateful. (The early next morning shuttle was perfect.). But again, the problem was there was not enough staff to cope with the results of the flight cancellations, the hotel itself was fine.

When I first arrived, the woman at the counter was very rude. I asked for my bags to be left, which she said there is absolutely no room. I asked her what should I do since I cannot take my bags to the football game, she said well you can check if you want. When she opened the the storage close not only did my luggage fit, ypu could fit at least three more suitcases! When I said thank you as I left she gave a "hmmpph" response. When I checked in later the new person at the counter was very kind.
