The hotel was clean and the receptionist was super friendly and helpful. We were on a layover trip so we only stayed one day. Our only gripe was the airport shuttle that took a long time to arrive and we were waiting outside at Federal Circle on a pretty cold evening. All in all it's a decent hotel.

It's definitely not the old Doubletree. They used to be a step up from the bottom, but adequate tier of hotels. Instead, the hotel was quiet dull. White walls. Gray carpet. But the bed was quite comfortable and the location was fine.

Check in staff was rude. When we asked our room number he stared at us without answering. TV did not work, service tech sent to help was very good but could not repair. Front desk said they would give us breakfast vouchers since we missed the football game. And to pickup the vouchers in the morning. In morning we tried to pickup our breakfast vouchers and were told breakfast is not included. We explained what the night staff told us and the manager rudely gave us breakfast vouchers. While waiting for our shuttle we asked for water and were told it is available by purchase only, again rudely by manager. We are thankful for the shuttle direct to JFK terminal.
