Just a warning to everyone booking the loft rooms: I had booked the Royal Loft after viewing the photos, only to arrive and find that the loft room was in the basement with no fresh air or windows to open and the room was dark as you cannot reach the curtains and the windows were covered with advertisement and seemed completely opposite from what was advertised. The air was also much more stuffy even with the ac on which gave me an instant headache. I had planned on to run out the door as soon as I arrived because I already made previous plans and I had to stay behind to speak with the front desk and to ask expedia for help changing rooms which all could have been avoided if they would have just said what the room actually was. After several back and forths, I ended up having to spend the 1st night that room because they said there wasn't any other rooms left. The shower in the room also had a verly loud motor sound that rumbled so I quickly showered just in case something were to happen. Over all it seemed like the rooms were done like an after thought and had they just stated the rooms as what it was, I wouldn't have booked it. When I checked in the am, they luckily had a room on the 1st floor and I quickly moved to that room which had light, a window that opened for fresh air and a shower that didn't rumble. There is a microwave and fridge which was nice and they had a nice guest area by check out for coffee, tea, water, and waiting area.

Overall a great stay and in a great location just off all the main strips but easy access the the L to get you into Manhattan and everywhere else. A couple of things to note. The lack of soft furnishings and carpets in the hallways means anyone talking in the corridors are super loud. Also, I assume the room choice was unlucky - but as I was in the fourth floor, directly under the bar, each night when the bar closed something super loud was switched on, be it at 9pm or Midnight - both of these things woke me up on different nights. Cleaning of the room at arrival could have been a little better, but overall would recommend for short stays when you need access to Brooklyn and Manhattan.

This will be our new go-to for NYC. Extremely close to the Morgan L train station which is a direct line to Manhattan. Amazing restaurants in easy walking distance. We highly recommend Maloya on Flushing. The couple of blocks immediately surrounding the hotel are desolate but not scary. It's surprisingly quiet. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Be warned there is a consistent loud beeping sound that can be heard from your room, no matter where in the building you are located. There is a large industrial yard across the street where large trucks come and go all day. Beeping sound and bright lights are 24/hrs a day. There is no mention of this anywhere on the property info. My room was never serviced or cleaned in the week that I stayed here. No one was ever at the front desk. The pipes shook inside the walls and loudly vibrated with a screeching sound every time I took a shower.

It was convenient to our show at Under the K. And plenty of easy street parking nearby. However it was super expensive for a not so quality room. Very dirty stained couch. Door jam was filthy and looked unkempt. No side table to put items on?
