Would like to see the shower curtain changed out when it has stains or marker ink on it. The ceiling had water damage and the bathroom door handle was broken so you couldn’t lock it and when you twisted it the handle would fall off. Little things need to be repaired so it makes the hotel stand out instead of getting a lower review. The flip side I really appreciated the kind and friendly welcome from the hotel staff at check in. They were very courteous. Thank you

The front desk staff were extremely kind and very helpful. Sadly we stayed in room203 and it wasn’t very well kept. The ceiling has water spot stains ,the shower curtain has permanent black marker drawn on it and the shower has a good bit of mold/mildew. Only one elevator works and it would be very helpful to have large clear signs in the roaming garage labeling where the stairs to the lobby or elevator are for guest unfamiliar with the parking area.

Hotel itself is nice! However parking in parking garage was an issue. I checked with front desk and based on our discussion, my truck would fit. My truck did not exceed the height maximum, but entrance was very extremely steep and narrow. The top of my truck sustained some damage upon entering ripping an item off the top. I spoke to concierge and I plan to speak to manager.

The Good: The location is very convenient. One block away from Canal St and St Charles Street car lines, and just a few blocks walk from the French Quarter. The front desk staff was also very kind. The Bad: The hotel is old and needs updating. We booked a king suite- the room was large and half empty- we could have had a roller skating party. Getting a suite was pointless-save your money. The bathroom had a gigantic, broken spa tub with shower. It was difficult to step into- and slippery!! Please consider installing a railing/bar before someone falls. The room smelled musty and was dark with no outside windows. The window looked into the hallway. Room had a fridge, safe, coffee pot, and iron (broken). Microwave was in the lobby. The elevators were broken for most of our 5 day stay. We were on the 4th floor- that got old very quickly. You must request housekeeping services and fresh towels from the front desk. The walls are very, very thin, and quiet hours are not enforced. There were multiple nights where I was woken up by yelling, laughing, and music in the hallways and connecting rooms. To summarize- good: location, and nice staff. Bad: nearly everything else.

The hotel over charged me, it is not like the other Wyndham hotel I have stayed at. If you need towels or anything dealing with housekeeping its hard to even get any help.

Not the best experience.

There isn’t much to eat around the area. You have to walk a good while to get some food that isn’t the Indian restaurant that is connected to them or the expensive restaurant across the street (which is an odd type of food to have in that area and not a preference of mine). There isn’t a bar in the hotel either. There are a couple dive bar type places, but again you have to walk up to canal or towards Poydras for anything. The elevator was broken the entirety of my stay. One of the two was shut down completely. The other one was “out of order” 2 of the nights and the fire department had to come break it open another of the nights. Taking the stairs isn’t the worst thing, but up 4 flights after you’ve walked the city all day isn’t the most fun thing to do. The room was basic. There were no drawers to unpack your suitcase. I had to pull the TV off the wall to connect the cable box to the right input, and even then the remote wouldn’t work very well because it couldn’t find the connection. For the price, I would have expected a little better maintenance inside to make up for the poor location. Not worth the price in my opinion. For a few more dollars get a place closer to the quarters, if you want to shop and have food options.

Went down from Pa for the breezy bowl and to sight see. The superdome was only around 10minute walk or less from the hotel. XLoved how it was right in the middle of town with easy access to shopping , bourbon street and French quarters. The hotel staff was amazing and the security were so nice and fun to chat with they Gave a lot of great tips of where to go to eat , shop, etc and made sure you always felt safe. Glad I didn’t get a rental car as i initially planned cause parking in the city is slim to non , pricey and difficult especially if you have bigger vehicles. But also absolutely not needed. You can easily get a quick Lyft or uber right to the hotel to anywhere . Would absolutely stay here again. Had a absolute blast

The staff was friendly on initial walkin. After checkin I was notified that there wasnt hotel parking and needed to us street parking for an o er night stay. It took 25 minutes to park in a praking garage down the street. When returning back to the hotel for the night we were told the elevator didnt work. Having to walk up 5 flights of stairs was not in the plans after a long day and evening.

The hotel wasn’t quite what I’m used to, but since I only needed a few hours, I decided to go ahead with the reservation. We arrived pretty late and parked in front of the hotel to quickly unload our bags. Almost immediately, the security guard came out and told us we couldn’t park there. We understood, but we were only there briefly to check in. Once we got to the room, everything was fine overall. The only issue was with the bathroom sink — the water stream splashed everywhere instead of flowing in a steady stream. Other than that, the stay served its purpose for the short time we needed.
