The people at the front desk are excellent. The only issue is there was a water problem at the hotel First room assigned #227 had a smell to it from the bathroom sink and the TV didn’t work. Fortunately, there was another room available #222 which smelled fresh and the TV worked. The rating is lower for condition of the first room. Your cleaning service should have caught the issues in advance in #227 and alerted their Supervisor to alleviate the ill convenience to a paying customer. I didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel so no rating for that.

My experience was below expectations. There was a noticeable musty smell in the room, and the bathroom had mold issues. With the extra $15 daily charge, I expected simple things to be well maintained, but that wasn’t the case.

We experienced a morning filled with cigarette smoke from another room. People are people. It was terrible. The desk person said she couldn’t smell a thing. Perhaps a smoker herself? Idk. It came clear into the breakfast room. My son who use to be a solid smoker, it bothered him. He kept mentioning it. Thanks for your attention to keeping an eye out.

Booked this based on reviews and was very disappointed with cleanliness of our room. Every member of staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. However, the bathroom was not clean- there was a ring of filth in the toilet, rust and mildew stains on the tile and in the shower, and dirt buildup in all corners. When we asked for extra sheets and blankets, they had suspect stains in them. We have stayed at a Sonesta Select before and would again, but not this location.
