Book a hotel near Narada Falls, Packwood

"The place was a good place to stay. However, there is NO TV or Internet aka WiFi in the room. There is NO Rerigerator or Microwave in the room. NO BATHROOM inside your room, aka you have to use a common bathroom for commode usage. NO PRIVATE SHOWER inside your room aka you have to use a common shower room. It makes it very hard to communicate with the outside world without WiFi It is a good place to connect with nature but without WiFi it makes it hard to plan your next set of steps be it food or next place to stay etc., It is hard to find info about the Paradise Inn and about Mt. Rainer as well. Food was decently good and staff was awesome. Not VERY VEGETARIAN or VEGAN friendly. Limited options for Vegetarian and Vegan folks. Please be aware and bring food yourself to be safe."

"Room was clean, the wifi was reliable during my stay which is good as I had no cell service. The jetted tub was strong with a nice balcony to sit on with a cup of coffee in the morning. The pans and cookware was a nice touch with a dishwasher to make it easier on the cleaning staff. "

"We stayed at their Salal Cabin which is brand new & sits back in the woods. It is so adorable & comfortable. It has a fantastic heater system that keeps you the ideal temperature. The furnishings are so lovely. The reception staff was so kind & even provided us breakfast for the next day since there are no food establishments close by. The property is so beautiful with a pond & seating area to relax & enjoy the ducks & fish jumping. We will absolutely be returning. It is so close to Mt. Rainier entrance; we got into the park in minutes."

"We were very disappointed. We stayed for 2 nights which we could not fully enjoy due to numerous issues. First, the heating was not working when we arrived. It took 5 hours after contacting the host to get it working. The next day, we tried using the hot tub and it was very dirty and clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. We got out to take a shower, and then realized the hot water also wasn't working. The host contacted maintenance, but wasn't sure they would come. Thankfully, it was fixed after 2 hours and we were able to clean off from being in the dirty hot tub. Finally, there was also a power outage which lasted 6 hours making it difficult to enjoy our final night."

"This was an extremely well kept, perfectly cleaned, well organized and stocked and nicely appointed/decorated cabin. This cabin is GREAT for a family getaway. However, I personally did not enjoy the cabin for my intended purposes. Although we had a nice enough time and there were NO issues with the cabin itself - We were specifically looking for something more remote and private and intimate with a more romantic interior and I thought with having read multiple reviews (all) that this was that. It wasn't. The photos of the property are great but a tad misleading. This review is just to help those looking for a private intimate romantic getaway near mt rainier specifically - this home is on the ENTRY corner of a neighborhood. The hot tub was in view of 4 properties including the home across the street and 2 for sure in the backyard with no real privacy shading or fencing. so no - it definitely wasn't private. I felt on display. So I hope those looking for a couples getaway finds this review helpful but the awesome would be great for friends or family trips and get togethers. Again, I will stress that cabin itself is very well updated and taken care of. The check in and check out process is extremely smooth and the instructions to operate all amenities/appliances and thermostats were well described and easy to follow. Great cabin, just one I would only book for family getaways! "
