The entire street is under construction, making the street a one way streeet without any option to off load . The staff was not helpful and not less than friendly. The carpet in the hallway and stairs is dirty. The room is in poor condition.

Upon returning home, I received an emailed receipt. This is strange because I pay upfront for the entire stay. I called today to be told that something was missing from my room and I was charged a fee. This is utterly preposterous and as a long time client of this hotel, I am very upset. I have written to the hotel for an explanation as I was not given one over the phone. This is most likely a scam that the hotel is running in order to steal money from its guests. I have been a faithful client of this site since it first started. I used their previous site before the change. I feel as if this hotel is trying to steal money from me. How does some prove something was or was not stolen by the guest or by the staff. As a long tome guest of this hotel, I am very upset.

The rooms were ok. Could have been cleaner. We couldn’t get the room cooled off, opened windows and found that there was no screen. Front desk was not helpful in locating the closest parking and the food for breakfast was all carbs and minimal. No eggs, yogurt or fruit. Pancakes, croissant and sugary cereal were your options.

You get what you pay for. We didn't have the budget to spend $500 a night at another hotel so chose this one for the sheer fact that it is close to the wedding venue where we had to attend a wedding. The rooms are old and rusty in some spots with water damage in the ceiling of the bathroom...we heard water dripping in the ceiling at night when it was quiet. The saving grace is that there is paid parking next the the hotel and downtown Montreal is minutes away by Uber if you decide to not drive. A simple continental breakfast is included which is convenient. Rooms are clean even if it's old. Staff are friendly and helpful when possible.

Wouldn’t Stay Again – Needs Serious Upgrades

Stayed here recently and honestly, it was a letdown. This hotel was nasty af. The shower head was broken and covered in rust — I literally felt dirtier after trying to shower. The room looked like it hadn’t been maintained in years, with wallpaper peeling off the walls. It gave off a really run-down vibe. Most of the staff we interacted with were rude and unhelpful, except for one guy who laughed with us a bit and actually helped out — credit where it’s due. Parking was a nightmare, both day and night. They charge for parking, but the lot is way too small for the number of guests. It was super tight, with barely any space to maneuver, and some people were taking up two spots. We paid for parking and still struggled to find a place to leave the car — honestly one of the most frustrating parts of the stay. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I definitely won’t be coming back.

The LeLux Hotel was really great! We stayed 3 nights, and could have stayed there while we were visiting Montreal. Our room and bathroom were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were always nice, smiling and welcoming. We got a continental breakfast every morning that was simple but enough, and the hotel is less than 5 minutes away from the metro. There are some questionable people around the area and especially around the metro, however we are from Edmonton, Alberta and we have many questionable people around our city. All in all the hotel is a great choice, especially if you are looking for a budget friendly option when travelling. Thank you for a great stay!
