The property was lovely, the restaurant was very good. But for many of the rooms (both sides of my corner suite), the only view is a brick wall barely ten feet out the window. It is dark and feels rather prison-like in that respect.

Great location if you want to shop on St Catherine and arrive via train. Perfect if you want to shop without a coat, you just have to cross the street and access thru Place Ville Marie and thru the Metro level. The hotel also has a great restaurant serving breakfast and good food and also bar option for in the evening. Been here twice, will definitely come back when I’m back in Montreal.

All are excellent except the room AC/Heat system is noisy and affecting my sleep. Even I set the temperature but not reaching it. Fan auto will create a large starting noise that woke me up in the middle of the night. Hope that they can improve the system or replace it.

Checked in late, next day got in the shower to find the floor of the shower dirty with long strings of brown hair. Next day, informed staff the sink was plugged but never rectified in my 6 day stay. Second day, crumbs and dirt on the carpet and highly visible green slimy stains on the mirror. Staff informed. Day 3 - no cleaning services. Day 4 - ordered room service for breakfast, menu states it will arrive within 30 minutes. 70 minutes later breakfast arrived and cold. I did receive a call from the manager. She was very apologetic and sincere. Credited the breakfast and offered to pay for my last day's breakfast. Sub standard and very disappointing experience.

Thank you for the pleasant stay. The staff were nice, the food and drinks are excellent and the room was clean. The room was smaller than expected, no parking at the hotel was kinda disappointing.
