We stayed at this hotel for a week while we attended the tennis matches.. This hotel is good value for money. The location is excellent. Close to all modes of transportation. Very close to Chinatown and Old Montreal. The hotel is a little “tired” and could use some updating but the room we had was very large with a good size kitchen. The only drawback was the A/C unit was in the small sitting area( a separate room) and so you needed to keep the A/C on very cold in order for the cold air to make it into the bed/kitchen area. This made the sitting room area unusable unless you turned the A/C off. All in all I believe this hotel was great value for the price with a great location and would definitely stay again if returning to Montreal,

Great staff at checkin at all times and very helpful. and the bed linens were spotless, and beds very comfortable with full shampoo, conditioner and body wash containers. bath/shower tiles need regrouting due to mould. Also someone was cooking in another unit and the smell of burning onions/food filtering into our unit was extremely strong. But a very reasonably priced hotel close to Old Montreal and other amenities. Would recommend

Air conditioner only in 1 room in a 2 bedroom apt. Each room should have an air conditioner - especially in this hot weather. Or put a fan in the apt for the 2nd room.

I feel as though the hotel was misrepresented online. The room felt old, and smelled mouldy. We checked out after our fist night. The staff was great, and I can not say enough good things about them. My issues were with the state of the hotel as well as safety. We had four kids with us, and they did not feel safe.

More pros than cons!! Let's start with the cons because there's fewer. Cons: bathroom is dated and carpet feels very old. The pull out couch is very used, however having said this, if was a nice surprise that if was a pull out couch. We booked a two queen bed studio and it came with it. Very spacious indeed. Pros: convenient to Old Port and St. Denis and Chinatown (lots of dining options!!) St Catherine's is also full of festivities and all walking distance! Many bus stops nearby within the next corner! This made it very convenient for airport traveling (bus 747) Metro within two blocks. Kitchen is very usable, but could have used a container for the plastic bags of milk (if you are staying long term, more kitchen equipment could be used). But I made do with all the cups and such. Need to be creative. Laundry is free!! You do need to buy your own soap. They sell it for $2 for one tide in their pantry room or you can go to the dollar store to get some in the mall three blocks away ($4.5-$6). Apparently there was also free coffee in the pantry room. We didn't know this until check out day when we asked a guest how much it was. Overall, great choice of stay if you aren't driving and don't mind taking public transit or using your own legs to go around town. There's pay parking but not sure how much.

Staying here is like a visit back to the 70's but with slightly better cable. The spacious living room provided plenty of space, but having enough furniture for everyone to sit would be ideal and the lack of decor renders to room quite boring. Lack of kitchen amenities makes food prep and dining in suite difficult; there is no where to sit and eat as there are no table and chairs. Missing curtains also made privacy an issue and only one room and the main room had air conditioning.

The front stairs are falling apart and are unsafe to walk on in areas. The staff were pleasant but most things out of their control. The bathroom had mold and stains in the tub. The AC unit was barely functional and room was hot during a heatwave in Montreal. The only thing that helped was keeping all shades drawn. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

You get what you pay for, so given that this place was on the more economical side I suppose it was ok for the price. The staff were helpful when things were missing from the room and given that it was kitchenette suite many things were missing. However, the idea of planning interior window washing to take place while you’re in your room is questionable - I paid for the room so if you want to do non-urgent maintenance do it once I’ve checked out. But making it infinitely worse, the window cleaning staff had cards to all of the rooms and swiped their card to enter just seconds after knocking. The violation of our privacy and sense of security ruined this stay for us. The hotel barely responded adequately, in fact not really adequately as I was explicit this was a major problem and they needed to wait until we had checked out, but despite that they were knocking on our door again the next morning to clean the windows while we were still there, and earlier than the timeframe they had posted in the elevator. Can’t recommend this place.
