Walking distance to old Montreal and Chinatown. You have to walk through a rough stretch between Chinatown and old Montreal. If you find that uncomfortable, taxi takes only 7 minutes from the waterfront to hotel. General cleanliness, ie bathroom & carpet, is good. Could use some attention to detail cleaning like baseboards or behind bedside table. Some of the wood furniture is showing it's age with some wear on the corners - no biggie - couch and easy chair in pristine condition and comfortable enough. Kitchenette a handy feature - you need to call down to front desk for plates, glasses, etc. Most importantly, the bed was very comfortable, the room quiet, staff friendly and included hot breakfast.

So a few issues i’d like to address , the communication between the front desk staff and house keeping is terrible. We had to ask the front desk 4 times in one day for room service and never once received it. After going down to the front desk the 5th time i said we never received room service and the man said that it was noted on our file that the do not disturb was on all day which is COMPLETELY FALSE!!! Considering we left our hotel at 11 AM and didn’t come back until extremely late at night. He said well they knocked and no one answered. Since when do you need to be at the hotel for house keeping to come in?? I had requested even just for our garbage to be changed and clean towels and toilet paper since we were completely out considering there was 4 of us staying in the room. Also the cutlery that was provided was all wooden cutlery and paper plates and cups??? With a full kitchen how is someone able to cook and cut food with that? It’s impossible and a waste of money. Very odd they use single use items considering it’s like cutting with a piece of paper, i couldn’t even cut the chicken we wanted to eat, i requested scissors as a possible alternative to help us out but refused to bring them up unless i came down? Since when am i responsible to do your job on my vacation? I’m spending a lot to stay here and i’m overall not impressed, One front desk lady was extremely rude and snappy, and on top of it our bathroom had mould spores in the corners.

It was an okay stay, I most likely wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. Location is with in walking distance but lots of road closures around the hotel making thing difficult to get around when your not familiar with the area already. The bathrooms need some work. And the carpet looks dirty I can understand that there is a busy turn over of people coming and going and that may be why somethings are overlooked. Breakfast was decent lots of choice.

Centrally Located

Hotel was centrally located between some great areas, and had easy access to transit buses and trains. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Room was not 5 stars, but I loved the feel of having my own apartment. I didn't need them, but you do have to ask for cookware. Overall, I'd stay here again.

The studio room was quite large for 3 people and the fridge and micro were added benefits. There were both hot and cold choices for breakfast including fruit. Security card was a bit of a nuisance because it kept demagnetizing 2 to 3 times a day. Coffee and tea available 24/7 - also a nice benefit. Bus to the airport is a one minute walk; chinatown was a 3 minute walk: and going into the old town was a 10 minute walk. McGill uni was a 20 minute walk. Grocery store 4-5 minute walk. A very convenient location!

We enjoyed our stay here. Our GPS initially told us to make a u-turn from the other side of the road to get to the parking, but it is actually down the side street where you would make the u-turn. The staff was friendly and offered to help with anything that would make our stay more enjoyable. The room was nice. It had a Keurig, microwave, and refrigerator. The only negatives I would note were there was some detail cleaning that had been missed around the air vents. The in room AC did not work so you needed to use the vent and open the doors facing the courtyard to cool it down. Also the lighting situation in the room was strange, the "living room"/office area only had the desk lamp so after dark it was largely unusable. This was not a big deal for us, but if you needed to work from your room it could pose a problem. The complimentary breakfast was decent and restocked often, they even give a guide so you know when is usually busiest. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay at this property again.

I like the space of the room but it needs some upgrading and a dining table for a suite. The area has alot of construction and is difficult to get around. The bathtub is clogged and the water takes too long to drain.
