Front staff was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. They even asked if I was an IHG member unlike other chains where you have to let them know. The rooms were fine, the bathroom floor was very sticky. Otherwise beds were comfortable. There was a dirty bath towel that was left in the bathroom. I would suggest more attention to cleaning the bathrooms. The lounge was nice for a drink but very outdated. Beautiful view but limited on some drinks. I believe you could refurbish the lounge and update to a moderate beverage list. They did not have Cabernet and the Pinot was a single bottle that was a lower quality. The overall hotel was dated, needs a refurbishment to look modern. Bathroom in the lobby level had wallpaper peeling off. The breakfast needs to be revamped as well. The buffet was scarce and not appealing as well as the staff members. Presentation goes a long way. The 2 ladies at the front desk were amazing and professional looking. The staff in the dining area were far from professional looking and will turn people away in disgust Really the staff at the front desk is the saving grace for this rating I would highly suggest a refurbishement of the hotel to make it modern looking and definitely clean up the dining area with some standards for the employees and food. Professionalism and standards go a long way. Otherwise it will turn guests away. I barely ate due to the disgust itwould be a great hotel for guest taking a cruise and I would suggest if it had those updates
