I am allergic to bees I had a bee a wasp in my room upon checking in. I explain to the staff and ask for some wasp spray they need to find some first okay I let them know that I would leave and go get lunch for myself while they evict the killer in my room (the bee) I return 1.5 hours later and they haven’t done anything to help me. The bee was flying around then after my friend who is not allergic killed the bee I look at the dump I’m in nothing was clean crumbs and drink cup rings all over the flat areas dead spider and bugs old noodle wrappers behind the nightstand I was booked for 2 nights I stayed one night mostly because they never did housekeeping for my room after that first night. I wanted towels but didn’t want the hassle to get them. I will recommend that people should NOT STAY at travel lodge shakopee by win-dim

Dear guest, we are very sorry for the inconvenience you've had. However, at our property, we strictly follow a regular inspection for any form of infestation or accumulation of unwanted particles. This goes along with a daily housekeeping routine where all rooms are cleaned, inspected, and supervised before being made available for booking. We do not leave anything to chance especially at this time of a health crisis. Both the safety of our guests and staff is of utmost significance.

The inside of the property was very unkept, the rooms were filthy. The first room they put us in had actual fecies in the toilet, so they moved us to another room, the lamp shades were torn, drapes were hanging with no hooks, carpets were stained, bathroom floors were awful, dirty ring around tub. We were not happy with it at all, also no remote for tv.

Poor attitide of staff. Clothes from previous occupants were still left in the room. Half of the outlets weren't working. No telephone in the room. Outlets showed burn marks. Carpets were sticky and could use a good deep cleaning. Looked like someone had spilled something that was oil like in consistency on the desk and not cleaned it up. Smashed bug in the wall. "Continental breakfast" was minimal at best. There was black mold on the ice machine in the hall. Room is marked at holding 4 people yet there weren't enough towels in the bathroom. Marks on the walls. Torn up carpet under the frig in the room. For being a non smoking hotel it stunk of cigarette smoke!!

Made the reservation in February. Called to confirm the day of and let them know we would be checking in after midnight. Got to the hotel and I was told that they did not have our room which was a two queen. They only had single bed. There are 4 of us. They would not figure out anyway to make it work. Front desk called the owner and basically told me it was our problem and we would have a single bed room!

Unfortunately the gentleman that was at the desk in the morning and running the continental breakfast bar was far from that. The room was fair, could use some updating, paint and some TLC. Which has lead us to an average experience

When i went to check in they didnt have a room said the room was very bad shape and moved me to chaska out of my way from the casino that i had tickets for a concert there. The room was small ,beds were very old and mattress could feel every spring to old. I feel i should have gotten a call, and some kind of refund for my trouble.

What a Crap Hotel, Worst Hotel ANYWHERE!!!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything Read the review above.
Location: Location is in older part of town but is close to highways.
The staff is very rude and could care if you are there or not. The continental breakfast is not what is advertised. I guess there was one person on the staff that I was able to understand her English. The hotel should be condemned. It wreaks of cigarette smoke, it is dirty, my bathroom had paint and plaster falling off the walls with black mold under that and in the cracks of the tile. The base board heat did not work. When I asked for a different room they claimed they did not have any even though there was less than a dozen vehicles in the parking lot. To sum it up Don't Stay Here. I have stayed in some pretty bad places all of the work and this is the worst I have ever seen. This experience has also convinced me to never stay at another Travel Lodge ever, thanks to my Shakopee experience. Worst Hotel Stay Ever!
