When i went to check in they didnt have a room said the room was very bad shape and moved me to chaska out of my way from the casino that i had tickets for a concert there. The room was small ,beds were very old and mattress could feel every spring to old. I feel i should have gotten a call, and some kind of refund for my trouble.

What a Crap Hotel, Worst Hotel ANYWHERE!!!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything Read the review above.
Location: Location is in older part of town but is close to highways.
The staff is very rude and could care if you are there or not. The continental breakfast is not what is advertised. I guess there was one person on the staff that I was able to understand her English. The hotel should be condemned. It wreaks of cigarette smoke, it is dirty, my bathroom had paint and plaster falling off the walls with black mold under that and in the cracks of the tile. The base board heat did not work. When I asked for a different room they claimed they did not have any even though there was less than a dozen vehicles in the parking lot. To sum it up Don't Stay Here. I have stayed in some pretty bad places all of the work and this is the worst I have ever seen. This experience has also convinced me to never stay at another Travel Lodge ever, thanks to my Shakopee experience. Worst Hotel Stay Ever!

Staff was hard to understand couldn't use my debit card to pay had to leave and go get cash. Room was dirty toys from a previous guest under the bed comforterror had gum stuck on it. I guess if you get a discount room you get poor quality.

Great value!

We booked this hotel at a greatly discounted rate and weren’t really sure what we would be getting for our money. From the outside the place did not look like much, but the lobby, while small, was clean and well organized. We thought there would be a problem right away when the desk clerk told us the reservation was for a smoking room (there was no option to specify when reserving), but when I explained I have asthma he quickly changed it to a non-smoking room. We were very pleasantly surprised when we got to the room. It was a decent size, clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a full-size bathroom with a tub and all the toiletries/amenities you’d expect at a more expensive hotel. The hotel is right on the edge of Shakopee’s main strip, so there was plenty of dining close by. The next morning we go another surprise with the option of freshly made Belgium waffles for breakfast. Overall this was a very good value for the money and we would definitely stay there again.

NON-SECURE room and building!

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: non-secure bldg, broken deadbolt, loud room a/c, broken fridge control knob
Worst hotel stay in years!!! Deadbolt on my door was broken, no fridge control knob, no soap dish for used soap bar, super loud A/C, bed was uncomfortable. But the worst part of all was this is a NON-secure building! The side door not only was missing a key card reader, but the door didn't close on its own, and was sitting wide open!!! Not happy, with my deadbolt not working. Even though the key card envelope says 'Always use deadbolt'! Will NOT stay here again; the room rate was as high or higher than nearby hotels. I mistakenly thought since this is a Wyndham Hotel property, it would have the normal standard amenities, but I was wrong!

don't be too fussy for the money

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Rock bottom prices and satisfactory accommodations. Be realistic about what you paid for what you received.
