We were unaware of the construction going on in the hotel. It was very messy. The hallways were dirty and one area had garbage bags that sat in there for the two days we were there. Breakfast was a grab and go which was not what we paid for. That should have been announced that their normal breakfast wasn’t available at the time of booking. The reception was very wonderful and kind. And the restaurant next would be the only reason we would stay again.

The room was a little dirty as were the hallways. Minimal towels in rooms or the pool area. It was loud as if the walls were very thin. No one slept well with people knocking, talking, yelling or running up and down the hallways. Other guests in the hotel seemed intoxicated or impaired most of the weekend, which wasn’t ideal for those of us with young families. The hotel was under renovation so breakfast was limited although that was disclosed ahead of time and not a major issue. We don’t plan to return.

There is a $100 deposit, first off… and you won’t get it back for a while.. The first room they put me in was not even cleaned. There was candle wax dripped on the tables, sticky rings from where cups had been sat, and there were even frozen drinks in the fridge. I then requested a move. The second room was better but still not clean. There was a massive stain dripping down the bed skirt and a puddle of whatever the stain was on the floor next to the bed. The shower drain didn’t stay open to drain the tub either. I also woke up with a MASSVE bite on my butt, I’m assuming a spider. The ONLY thing about this hotel that was worth the money was the pool and hot tub. As a housekeeper for 7 years in my 20s this was absolutely unacceptable and the hotel room inspector/supervisor should be fired.

We were given an occupied room, it was eventually sorted out. The next day, someone kept trying to get in as if our room was unoccupied. The carpet was dirty and not vacuumed, and the walls dirty as well. Many broken things: like the shower handle, the fridge didn’t close, and the bathroom door did not shut nor would it lock. The toilet was very dirty. The bed was made nicely and the workers were kind, but that was the only positive from my stay.

The room wasnt even completed. The trash bag from people before me was outside the unsecured door. The bedding was still balled up on the bed. Trash cans were all aligned side by side without bags in them. The room was not inspected prior to my late arrival. It would not have passed inspection

The hotel is lacking general maintenance and the staff doesn't seem bothered in the least.. Almost everyone checking in had some sort of an issue or another with the facility.. One party went to there room and immediately came back down to the front desk to check out..

We reserved a jacuzzi room and when we go there it was broke and unavailable.somind you this is the second time we reserved a jacuzzi room and it was unavailable. So they upgraded us and that room was a disaster. It was nasty food on the floor,blood on the chair and couch.so we ask for another room and we get in our room and there is pee in the toilet unflushed.we did not stay

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was fine. However, they are in need of some tender care. Starting with removing the dead mum in the lobby. Country Inns usually have a level of comfort in the lobby. This lobby appeared cold and very unwelcoming and a hodgepodge of goodwill furniture.
