The Cozy, Comfy place to be :-)

This adorable cottage was everything it claims to be and more. They truly have everything for for fun in the sun to rainy weather/staying in activities. There is a book with all the rules, places to go, restaurants (and menus), grocery stores. We ordered pizza one night, another night we hung out at the firepit, making hot dogs and smores. The beach was a bit chilly but we anticipated that with the time of year. Even though it was chilly it was beautiful and peaceful. The cottage is charming and it feels like home. We could tell how much love has been poured into making this a fabulous getaway! So many thoughtful details. One of my favorites was the labeling of things like light switches. My girls loved it and even my teenage son enjoyed the house - and you know sometimes not much impresses them at that age. Lol. Serendipity—they picked the best and most fitting name for this slice of heaven. Thank you for sharing this special place with us. I sincerely hope we followed all the rules and didn't miss anything at checkout. I would love to return for a longer stay. I highly recommend. The owners are attentive and just a text away if you have a question.You can't go wrong with this one!!!!

Great stay

Great stay in Michigan city property was very clean and had everything we needed with close walk to the beach. Also equipped with everything we needed for our baby including baby monitor and high chair. Loved the back yard for fires every night.

Easy trip

We had a great time with our two small families. The house was perfect for us and the trundle bed came in handy. The house and garage were stocked with anything and everything. We loved the location, the back yard and fire pit.

Wonderful!

We were so impressed with this place! The minute we walked in the door we knew we would love it. The finiahes are gorgeous and the whole place is full of lots of unexpected amenities. We are very picky with lodgings but all our expectations were met and then some. Such a comfy cozy retreat for our family of 5. We already can’t wait to book it again next year!

Wonderful family stay!

This was probably the nicest property we have ever stayed! The hosts communicated very well even with my family’s hectic schedule. My husband and son arrived a day ahead of myself and daughter. It was just the relaxing vacation we all needed! We walked to the beach daily as well as the zoo one day, breakfast another and dinner one night. I love being able to walk to places which was one major point that attracted me to this house. There wasn’t anything we needed that was not provided! My husband and son even took the kayak down to the beach one day. I wish we could have stayed longer! I would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a lovely place!

Awesome House and Manager

Great house, very clean, with a nice beach vibe. Just a short walk to the beach with all the staples (beach cart, umbrella, chairs, coolers, etc.) available. Property manager was super friendly and responsive and even mailed us a couple items we left behind. Highly recommended!

Excellent Family Vacation

Our family of 5 loved this house! It had everything we needed! The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. They have all sorts of toys and items for the beach. Our daughters loved all the books and games when we wanted to cool off in the house. It is super close to a nice beach! We also enjoyed going to the Indiana Dunes National Park each day, so our daughters could be Jr. Rangers. I totally recommend this house! We loved it!

Amazing stay!

We loved our stay. Angie was very welcoming. The house is well stocked with beach equipment, much more than I would have expected. There are also wonderful touches throughout the stay that made it feel like home. Would stay again.

Perfect Family Vacation

Perfect beach getaway

We were a group of 5 long-time friends looking for a "girls getaway". This house was absolutely perfect for us and filled all of our needs. From the time we walked in, we were impressed with the updated finishes throughout and the attention to detail in the lakeside decorations. It has everything needed for a fun vacation, including a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of beach towels, bikes, beach chairs, firewood, snacks, and plenty of games and entertainment options. The owner was very responsive to all inquiries and clearly wanted to make our stay enjoyable. Lake Michigan and a beautiful park is a short walk away. It would also be perfect for a couple of families as well. The upstairs area was a fun "kids room", but we enjoyed it as well. Can't say enough about this booking. It was a perfect stay from start to finish! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect south shorline home!

If you are thinking about booking this property go ahead and do it! You will not regret it! The property had everything we thought we needed and more! Its tue perfect place to stay for people of all ages! The bikes amd toys everything provided was top notch! We go to this are every year and have stayed somewhere new every time! This will 100% be our new anual spot for south shoreline vacations!

Wonderful weekend stay

Our hosts created a lovely home for our weekend. Everything was spotless and so welcoming (including the freshly baked banana bread!). The location was close to downtown for our dining and we enjoyed the fireplace for cozy evenings back at the house. Perfect!

Beautiful property with a 4 min walk to beach

This place is great! The owners were super friendly and communicative throughout our stay. The master bedroom has one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on! My spouse & I loved the fireplace and cozy kitchen, while my teenage son enjoyed the game room upstairs. Would definitely stay again.

Not cliche-truly the pictures did not do this haven justice! Every detail beautifully planned. We went for our annual summer beach vacation, but wanted to come back to stay inside, bake, read the books and play the games provided. Every question was promptly answered. The beach toys and fire pit were among our favorites. Simply sublime!

Perfect property - great location

Owners took so much time and care to make sure everything you need for a great vacation is at the property. All the little extras and details made it special. The location is just a short walk to the beach and beach access is clean with a cart path and a restroom. We were also able to walk to Washington Park and the zoo. We really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend it.

Angie is an amazing host, super inviting and full of great info. The house binder is super helpful and informative. The house is really close to Sheridan Beach. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Love all of the bikes and beach gear in the garage. We honestly could not have found a more perfect home for our family. The decor is tasteful and cozy. The upstairs loft is perfect for children. The bathrooms are fantastic! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Simply Amazing!

Angie and Herman do an incredible job with this lovely and inviting home in Michigan City. We loved everything about the home, the amenities were fantastic, and the gear on hand for the beach made it so we didn’t have to bring any beach gear from home for our kids. We enjoyed the fire pit, the wide selection of board games and books, the lawn games, and even a movie or two. A great neighborhood, a lovely home, and Angie is so responsive and a terrific host. Highly recommend!!

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful time at this home. There were many toys, beach toys/chairs/umbrella, and dishes, high chair, porta-crib for young children. Great location- close to beach and only 0.4 miles away from a nice zoo for kids. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the fire pit and warm hose in back to rinse off the sand. Very close to the National Dunes and state park (which had nice hiking trails). Angie was great to communicate with. A great place to unwind and enjoy being with family. Would definitely go back here.
