Good Deal and Ideal Location

The condo was perfectly located for what we needed. The beach was directly next to it, plenty of stores and food within walking distance, and easy to get to. Check-in process is a bit tricky depending on which building you stay- you must check-in during office hours at one specific building (the one directly next to the building we were staying in). Plenty of space in the condo for all of us. Directions provided by host were easy to understand, and there were provided amenities.

Overall a great stay!

My family and I were there for 6 nights. We had a great time. The tides is a great location. The condo itself is VERY kid friendly. Pack n play with mattress, high chair, kids toys, it was great. Didn’t come with pool towels so we had to buy, which was annoying. Also, going through an agency that you have to email is kind of annoying. We had an issue that we resolved but it took them a few hours to respond. Having a phone number to call would be really helpful. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely consider it again!

The property host was available to help with the check in process and it was a process, had to get a parking pass key pob pool and beach access wristband, but from then on it’s pool time beach time the rest of the stay, your right on the beach. It was smaller but 2 queen size beds a pull out bed, besides your only in the room to sleep right! Enjoy your stay here

Myself, boyfriend, and our 2 sons (7yrs &9yrs) had a wonderful time staying at this condo! The home was very clean and had a great kitchen for us to make all our meals. They had beach chairs, towels, and umbrella in the condo which made our beach days great!! The pool was a beach/pool days were the best and literally right next to each other. Very happy with our stay 😊

Centrally located

This was our first time at the Tides. The property was centrally located. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. The beach was steps from the property and the pool was clean and heated. The gym was a nice feature with ample machines and weights. The only criticism I have was that even though there were signs about reserving pool chairs it was not adhered to as everyday chairs had towels on them starting at 8 in the morning for hours before they were occupied

For What It's Worth

It was okay for what it's worth, but felt like we could've/should've paid a small bit more for something in a better area, better check-in process, resort staff and a little nicer rooms. Property owner was nice and responsive and provide all the details to check-in before. But the check-in process with the additional costs is a headache. If you're in need of a room to be down for an event, this is fine. But if you're looking for the place to be part of the experience, I'd look elsewhere.

A lot left to desire

The tides is an older hotel, but well kept. It's good to know they are putting those initial fees they charge to good use. It's $75 dollars for the "resort fee" then 20 dollars cash for the parking. they provide you a badge you put on your car and that you return at the end to get your money back. What they don't tell you is that they are open only office hours, so if you have a flight in the morning, and you don't give the parking pass back the business day before, you forfeit your money. As for the room, it was very minimalistic. You could tell the room had been lightly cleaned before our arrival but somethings didn't need to be cleaned but replaced. The middle rug in the living room was very worn and stained throughout. The TV remotes were falling apart and the batteries were dead. The placement of the TV in the corner of a room, and very low to the ground in the living room was poor. The biggest problem was the door knobs. The knob to the master bedroom was broken, and we were lucky to get it open. When a handy man came by, he added a few screws and "showed us" that the door had a kink. The master closet door knob consistently fell off when we open the door. Long story short, fix the knobs or get rid of the doors because they are a hazard. There was no small wash clothes provided, only a few towels. To point out something positive, they did provide us beach towels and an umbrella. no oven mitts, no watered down soap, broken hair straightner

We really enjoyed our stay at The Tides. Communication and check-on was easy. We felt safe and enjoyed the pool areas very much. Very close to the Hollywood boardwalk where there is lots to do!

Perfect Ocean View!

It is one of the cleanest units in the Tides we have stayed in, however there were a few exceptions. Living rug was very dirty, bathroom vanity was peeling and microwave was also peeling. That is why i did not give it 5 stars! Communication with owner was excellent.
