The check in staff was more into there cellphone and they where two guys check us in and one guy leaves us we have a big line waiting to check inn .the coffee was like hot water i told them and all they do is shake they heads and nothing was happening look like the manager need tocheck on the coffee ☕️ and they where only 2 yogurts for that big crowd

At no fault to the property, it was concerning that Memphis is warning of car break ins and area hotels have gated their property. Not sure we will consider another trip to stay overnight in Memphis.

The property was well kept and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Whenever I got into the room the A/c wasn’t cooling I called the front desk and they sent someone immediately. Once he saw it was gonna take more than a few minutes to repair the issue they changed my room and even helped me with moving my luggage. They even offer shuttle to the airport! I felt very comfortable and safe inside the hotel. On my way out the following morning there was a guest that had parked their car outside on the gate in a space for retired veterans. His window had been shattered and his car was burglarized. Now, this isn’t a reflection on the hotel they did offer gated parking this space was just outside the gate very close to the entrance. Overall the room was perfect, clean comfortable and I would choose this place for any other Memphis stays!

Good in some ways, not so much in others
This was a less than stellar place. It was good but there were a few items that made me hesitate. A bit of a tarnish to my experiences with La Quinta. The fit and finish of the furniture was not quite there, with the cabinet door to the refrigerator not closing and staying closed. The fixtures were rather outdated even though the room looked like it had a refresh recently. The biggest yikes was the evidence of a roof leak (I was in the top floor). It had bubbled the paint right above the bottom corner of the bed. It was sizeable, but thankful it was dry. It looked like it had been there for a while so I'm not sure if there was any move to fix it. Location was decent, and even though it was close to the airport, it was quiet. The restaurant next door was solid!
