Generally a good place to stay, a little more explanation of how everything works for first time stayers would be great, and a little more attention to detail on the cleaning side for the rooms.

Very clean and great location. But it was not as advertised on hotel.com. There was no minibar, french press, or complimentary drink as per my VIP rewards. It was just a room and so though it was fine, the things I chose to pay a higher price for were not available to me.

It's just ok. The restaurant has a nice garden view. The room is comfortable but quite old with many electric wires. The ensuite bathroom is comfortable & wide. The services are just ok.

Hotel and room whilst ok is probably due for a upgrade. Had the breakfast and for the price was disappointed, self serve cofee was horrible, but to get one made was going to cost extra,for the high cost shoukd of been included. No omelette option included in breakfast, and overall cost saving in the breakfast quality and options was obvious. Have stayed here quiet a few times, but probably time to look elsewhere for better value.

The hotel has always seemed unwelcoming and lacked hospitality. The reception doesn’t welcome visitors with a smile but scornful look, bordering along being rude and condescending. The rooms look unkept and just fixed.

Not bad for a city break

Hotel was in a good location with friendly, helpful staff. Overall the hotel is a bit tired and in need of a refit. Noticeable staining in the shower and bath and various broken bits and pieces around the room. Cleanliness was average as while most areas were clean there was a lot of dust under the bed and the lobby area was in need of a vacuum. Not bad for the price.

Too slow to get into room

We enjoyed our stay but checkin was slow and then the door to our room would not open with card. Needed to get housekeeping up twice to get access - problem with lock. It took a while and we were in a hurry.

Lack of staff. On arrival nobody explained facilities or guidance to the room. Friday breakfast just after 9am most of the hot breakfast food was cold. A very expensive breakfast for $38 $6 dollars for coffee. At 930 pm on Friday the housekeeping and room service didn’t answer the phones. On check out nobody asked if assistance for taxi Uber or anything was wanted. A clear lack of staff and staff training. R Richards
