"When we got there we were told that we couldn’t check in until 1pm, which was fine, We just went to the beach. Then I go back and I was told that it would be at 2 pm, so I then go back to the beach and return after 2pm and was told that because housekeeping was behind I could check in until 3 pm. I didn’t get into the room until after 3pm which was an entire day that I didn’t have access to the room but got charged for it. That’s unacceptable."

"I stayed here during a snowstorm, which unfortunately highlighted a few issues during my stay. The biggest concern was the temperature while the living area was warm, the bedroom was freezing the entire time. The bedding didn’t help much either, as the comforters were very thin and definitely need to be upgraded. Service was also disappointing. I called the front desk to request water and was left on hold for about 10 minutes, then told someone would bring it up. After waiting over an hour with no follow-up, I called back but couldn’t get through just kept being placed on hold. I eventually went downstairs myself, where I was told they were short-staffed and waiting for someone to come in. I completely understand being understaffed, but that should have been communicated upfront instead of the lack of response. On my final day, a main pipe burst, and there was water everywhere. I didn’t feel like the situation was handled well, and I ended up having to follow up after I returned home. That said, there are positives. The location is great right on the beach and the restaurant on-site was really good with great staff, which stood out. Overall, I’d give this place 3 stars mainly because of the location and beachfront. With better maintenance, communication, and attention to guest comfort, this could be a much better experience."

"This a a beautifully decorated, spotless rental. Lisa is a great host. Very responsive, and thinks of all of the welcoming details you could want. We had a wonderful girls weekend here. There is a very busy road not far away, but the house is so solid you would never know when inside. If you're a fan of Mexican food, Tequila Jalisco is great and a very easy walk from the house!"
