"We were escorted in on the red carpet and literally treated like rockstars. We had Star class which I definitely recommend. We booked transfers and an excursion through the hotel. When we arrived we booked a spa treatment with Princess, it was great experience. In general loved the property it gave cruise ship vibes on land. Lots of activities or peace and quiet, whatever you’re into. "

"El Sueno is a beautiful property in Papagayo. Very spacious and well appointed (even more so than the photos depict!) The unit had everything we needed and was conveniently located to all that the peninsula has to offer. Ana was very attentive to all of our needs during our stay."

"It’s really hard to put into words just how spectacular our stay at Villa Mariposa was. Everything about the experience didn’t simply exceed our expectations; it absolutely blew them away. Chad, our host, was in constant contact and incredibly helpful. The staff on the ground is even more so. By way of example, we ran out of propane at the grill one night around 7:30pm. After a quick call the the local staff a new tank was delivered and installed in about 15 minutes.The property is “blow-your-mind” incredible. The images in the listing do not do it justice. This is the sort of place from which legends are created, and songs or poems are written. The Peninsula Papagayo area was also fantastic. The golf course was one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. The beach club and restaurants were relaxed and delicious. If you have kids, wait until they see the brand-new play park. Just amazing.Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10. This rental experience rolls in at 52.We will be back!"

"Pool was great, hot tub never would get warm but didnt spoil our time. Staff was always great and accommodating as well as the host. House worked great for our family. only downside I didnt realize that there was only 2 private bedrooms and the other rooms with the beds were on a mezzanine and didnt provide privacy and shared bathrooms. it was ok for our family but couples may would not enjoy that. House was still great for us and had the best views. Concierge/Host went above and beyond and helped prior and during our stay which made everything super easy and relaxing for me. "
