Jungle Roost, una casa de 4 pisos bellamente decorada cerca de la playa

Imagine estar 4 niveles más arriba, enclavado en el espectacular y prístino dosel de Costa Rica. ¡Bienvenido a Jungle Roost!

Disfrute de su café matutino en la cubierta envolvente viendo a los monos alimentándose y cruzando las copas de los árboles.

Esta casa de 2,500 ft2 tiene 3 dormitorios y 3 baños y está totalmente y cómodamente amueblada. Tiene ventanas de piso a techo con vistas despejadas diseñadas para llevar el exterior al interior abierto y acogedor. El diseño arquitectónico de esta casa única incluye numerosas puertas corredizas de vidrio que se abren para permitir la brisa a través de la casa. Hay ventiladores de techo y aire acondicionado en toda la casa.

El nivel del suelo tiene un amplio estacionamiento, una sala de lavandería equipada con lavadora y secadora. El nivel principal incluye una gran sala espaciosa, cocina totalmente equipada con barra de desayuno / isla, terraza que rodea la sala de estar y baño. El cenador al aire libre es un pequeño pedazo de paraíso.

Suba un nivel hasta el amplio dormitorio principal con cama de matrimonio, puertas corredizas a la cubierta envolvente y ventanas enormes para obtener vistas sin obstáculos de la vida silvestre del dosel. Este nivel también tiene un baño completo.

Suba otro nivel hasta el cuarto piso donde hay dos habitaciones bellamente decoradas con camas queen size y un baño completo. Ambas habitaciones tienen puertas corredizas de vidrio de piso a techo en dos paredes que brindan acceso a la cubierta envolvente donde hay un gran campo de Chester al aire libre para leer en silencio o siestas. No te sorprendas si un mono (¡o 10!) se escabulle Quédese quieto y deambularán buscando saltar del balcón al árbol más cercano. Tentarás a alimentarlos, pero por favor absténgase: hay mucha comida saludable en la jungla.

La playa cercana es preciosa y tranquila. Si está de humor para más gente, bares modernos, buenos restaurantes, escuelas de surf, tiendas de comestibles parasailing y compras divertidas, simplemente camine 15 o 20 minutos por la arena blanca hasta Manuel Antonio.

We loved our stay at Jungle Roost. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved seeing the wildlife at the property: monkeys, sloths, iguanas, birds, and butterflies. The location is wonderful- perfectly situated between a quiet stretch of beach and great restaurants. Ismael is a fantastic, attentive, and kind host. Jungle Roost is a 10/10 stay.

We cannot say enough about our stay at the Jungle Roost. Our host, Francesca, helped coordinate our whole trip and activities. He had groceries upon our arrival per our request, arranged a chef for dinner at the villa, which was the highlight of our trip! The close proximity to the beach, great restaurants and the supermarket was perfect. Lots of uphill steep roads but we enjoyed that! We spent so much time lounging in the pool, all hours of the day. Howler monkeys fun to watch in the trees right from the poolside! We ziplined, ATV'd, and did an all day offshore fishing excursion, catching 12 sailfish!!! Costa Rica is a special place, wonderful local hospitality, we will be back!! Created lifelong memories with our adult kids and their spouses. Thank you!!

We stayed at the Jungle Roost for a week, and the photos and reviews truly don’t do it justice. All six of us have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally, but we’ve never experienced hospitality like this.Ismael began communicating with us months before our arrival, helping us plan our itinerary, and he continued to be incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The property is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need.Each day we were visited by howler monkeys, along with other amazing wildlife and reptiles, which made the experience even more special.I can’t recommend the Jungle Roost highly enough!

The outdoor pool area was so relaxing, the wildlife was entertaining to watch, and the host Ismael answered any and all questions as well as helped line up transportation and tours! What an awesome experience! After a long day of travel, we were greeted by Ismael who not only met us after dark, but was exceptionally kind and helpful to set us up for our stay in Quepos. On our first day, we met three types of monkeys, agoutis, iguanas, and even a sloth and her baby. The house, pool, etc. were all amazing and were so thankful to have stayed there with our three little boys. Highly recommended not just for the experience, but for the courtesy and hospitality of our host. Can’t wait to visit again!

This VRBO in Manuel Antonio was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the jungle, the wildlife experience alone was unforgettable. We saw hundreds of monkeys right at the house—squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, and capuchins—constantly entertaining us throughout the day. We also spotted scarlet macaws, a toucan, and even a sloth at the property. Remarkably, we saw more wildlife at the house than on any excursion we took.The home itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean, completely updated, and perfectly designed for enjoying the surroundings. Large glass windows, multiple balconies, and incredible viewing angles made you feel immersed in nature. The outdoor space was outstanding, with a huge patio, grill and bar area, and a large pool that we used daily.What truly set this experience apart were the owners. They went above and beyond in every possible way. They arranged seamless private tours (all of which were amazing), private chefs who cooked at the house—hands down better than any restaurant we ate at—and phenomenal restaurant reservations. He also set us up with a transportation service that was extremely reliable, and we used it throughout our stay. We never needed a rental car.We travel frequently, and this was, without question, the best experience we’ve ever had. Everything was effortless, luxurious, and thoughtfully handled from start to finish.Strongly recommend—very special!

Six of us stayed at the Jungle Roost, and we all completely enjoyed our visit. The house had everything we needed — we weren’t missing a thing. Our host, Ismael, was incredibly helpful with all of our plans and gave us the best recommendations. If we had tried to coordinate everything on our own, it wouldn’t have turned out nearly as well. Ismael was a great host, and Jungle Roost is an amazing place. He gave us great recommendations to restaurants and suggestions for day trips. Hanging out at the pool after day trips was the best. There are plenty of animals to be seen just hanging out on the pool deck. You will not be disappointed staying at Jungle Roost.

Beautiful property with everything you need! With all the 5-star reviews, you might be wondering if they delete reviews that are not 5, however I can assure you that is not the case. The location is perfect for walking to Manual Antonio shops (it is uphill), the pool was wonderful, and the house had absolutely everything we needed (no need to buy toilet paper, trash bags, soap, or anything like that). The hosts are amazing. They will reach out to help you plan activities and give you honest advice about what to do, where to eat, where you need a guide, etc. Their recommendations were spot on for everything. Thank you for an amazing stay and helping us plan some last minute activities! We hope to return!

Ismael was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The house was perfect and had everything we could have needed. The daily monkey and sloth visitors were a highlight. It’s an easy walk down to the beach, slightly harder on the way up! The beach was the most amazing beach I’ve ever visited. Perfectly located to access all local restaurants. I would recommend this villa to anyone visiting Costa Rica. We were very sad to leave.

Jungle paradise

Jungle Roost is simply beautiful. A real jungle paradise. Close to the beautiful beaches and Manuel Antonio Park. The house has everything you need. We enjoyed the pool every day. We saw howler monkeys and squirrel monkeys crossing above the property. Ismael, our host, is simply the best. You will never have a host provide such amazing VIP experience. He helped us with car rentals, private chefs, excursions and more. He made sure we had everything we needed to have a perfect stay. We are so thankful and would not hesitate to recommend a stay at the Jungle Roost.

Jungle Roost is amazing. Beautiful landscape and well appointed home away from home. The location is great, close to the beach. Wildlife views of monkeys, birds, and even a sloth, which was a highlight.The host went above and beyond, not just to make sure we were comfortable in the home but also to ensure that we had the best vacation. He gave excellent recommendations for dining and excursions, and assisted in arranging transportation to and from Manuel Antonio. The only negative is that my family was sad that our stay at Jungle Roost has ended. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Jungle Roost.

This property was excellent—immaculately clean with a stunning yard and a spacious deck and pool area that was perfect for our family to relax. The soothing sound of the waterfall combined with the sights and sounds of wildlife made it feel like a true escape. During our stay, we saw three types of monkeys, sloths, macaws, toucans, iguanas, and even an agouti!Ismael was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable, including arranging an amazing beach outing that became one of the highlights of our trip. This is as good as it gets!

We chose Jungle Roost based on the pictures and description but primarily because of the incredible reviews from prior travelers. Everything was fantastic. The property was better experienced than the pictures could even provide. The outdoor space (garden, pool and patio) was where we spent all of our time when on the property. We were visited by or saw two kinds of monkeys, a sloth, toucans and iguanas. I highly recommend the personal chef service. It was such a special meal to enjoy such a special place. The A/C was great as were the bathrooms/showers. The beds were very comfortable and everything we could possibly want was provided. If we ever have the opportunity to return, we would certainly come here. Ishmael made our stay effortless. He provided incredible service and recommendations. Anything we could possibly want or need, he provided as if we were family. Thank you!!

The perfect vacation to decompress

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this house and experience deserve a standng ovation though. The house is better than the photos. The location is perfect for a beautiful beach, jungle vacation. The access to restaurants, groceries, pharmacies, yoga studio was perfect. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies. Beds were very comfortable and large. The house and pool area was very private and an amazing vantage point for wildlife. We sat in the pool and watched a sloth in a tree and monkey's swing in the trees and the yard. You do have to be able to go up stairs and walk uphill to get to the beaches and the businesses, but that was a good counterbalance to the food and drink we consumed. Ismael was a wonderful host. All his recommendations were spot on. We ended up hanging at the house and walking to the close beach for most of the vacation. We had planned on driving to different locations, but it was so beautiful and peaceful there, we just stayed. The park was great, but we saw more wildlife from our back yard. We will be back and have great memories. To relax, decompress and rejuvenate, it's perfect.

Incredible vacation home and host

The house and property are paradise. Relaxing in the beautiful pool while troops of howlers, capuchins, and squirrel monkeys pass by is the ultimate immersion into the beauty that is CR. We also spotted sloths (one with a baby!), agoutis, an anteater, iguanas, cane toads, Motmots and other beautiful birds right from Jungle Roost. We had so much time to really observe the animals in their natural habitat over several days. We heard Scarlett macaws and yellow throated toucans from the property and had a chance to see them up close at the top of the hill (near the red door entrance up top).Ismael is the epitome of a gracious host. He was so welcoming and gave us some wonderful restaurant and activity recommendations. He was always quickly responsive to any questions we had. Jungle Roost is conveniently located within walking distance of great restaurants, coffee shops, and souvenir shops.The beach (Playa Espadilla) was about a 10 minute walk down the hill (1/2 mile). The waves were perfect for our 13 year old and 11 year old twins. Fun bodysurfing location and a simply gorgeous view. We rented a car (4x4 is the way to go in this area) and were close enough to many attractions that were within 1/2-1 hour drive (Nauyaca Falls, Uvita, Rainmaker, Manuel Antonio Park, Kids Saving the Rainforest)We had such a lovely week all around.Overall, Jungle Roost was the perfect place for a family getaway. Amazing setting, great location, and a warm, attentive host. Can't wait to return!

Family gathering

Beautiful home in remote setting. Kids loved the pool. Everything was well maintained, inside and out. A bit of a long walk to beach, especially for young children., although the scenery was relaxing. Very good place to end our stay in Costa Rica

Great Spot in MA

This is a gorgeous and well-maintained home with much thought put into the architecture and design. We saw monkeys, sloths, agoutis, coatis, and iguanas daily on the property. The kids had a blast in the pool and we loved the secluded beach nearby. Though 5 min from the hotspots of MA, this house is on a steep and secluded jungle road. A 4x4 definitely recommended, if not required. Ismael is a kind, responsive, and accommodating host and deserves every 5-start rating here.

Jungle paradise

Once again, Jungle Roost was the perfect spot for our family. Surrounded by monkeys, sloths, toucans, iguanas, and so much more! The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. Ismael is a wonderful host and was very helpful in arranging activities and answering questions.

Jungle Delight

We had an incredible stay at Jungle Roost!!! The property was beautiful and well maintained with every comfort - AC, laundry, and a gorgeous pool. We enjoyed daily visits with monkeys and spied a group of sloths in the trees! Our family made a lifetime of memories in this amazing home. Fabulous host, one of a kind property!

Jungle get-a-way

We loved this place. The location was wonderful. We were greeted when we arrived and shown how to use the property which was very nice. It is very private. We saw monkeys and a sloth right on the property. Perfect!
