"The bathroom door would not close and the amenities were next to zero. Definitely just a place to stay and leave.. Dirty tub and the drapes did not close properly. "

"Very cute little cottage and you get 2 adorable and very friendly ponies that come with it. We had our 2 midsize dogs with us and it was very pet friendly. Very good road to take them for walks, hardly any traffic and everyone is very friendly waving and saying hello. There are other dogs that come running to the fence down the road but they stay in their yards, just a heads up. Chelley, the host, was very friendly and was ready for our arrival. We didn’t use the pool, so can’t speak to that. The kitchen cupboards are very high and I’m on the short side, almost 5’3”, and I couldn’t reach the bowls so my husband had to fetch them for me which was kinda funny. So if you’re shorter than me and alone you probably won’t be able to reach high enough to get in the cupboards and use the microwave. We enjoyed our stay and it was a great location for what we needed."

"Parking was ample, the place was very clean, instructions to check in were simple, it’s in a fantastic location for accessing Lassen Park. We don’t have pets so that wasn’t an issue either way for us. The desk is sufficient for short periods of work as long as you don’t need extra space for an external monitor for your laptop (I ended up using the dining table since I had to run a zoom call one day while there). The central heater is efficient and was necessary in early April for us, but the outside blower (installed just outside the master bedroom wall) runs while the heater is on, so after the 1st night we realized we had to turn the central heater off so we wouldn’t be woken up by the hum and the vibrating picture frames on the wall. Luckily there is a fireplace-style electric heater in the master bedroom so that’s what we used at night for occasional periods just to warm the room up briefly, and sleep more undisturbed the whole night. The grill outside is semi compact but sufficient for 2 ish people. The laundry area is ample and convenient. The bathroom is roomy as well. The entire house is very well and thoughtfully stocked. It would’ve been nice to be able to use the stove in the living room for heating but it was “out of service”, though the central heating unit was more than sufficient for warmth purposes. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. "

"I got down to the breakfast hall about 15 minutes before breakfast was over. The pancake dispenser was out of batter. I went to notify the front desk and nobody was there. I started trying to wrestle up something else for breakfast. There was preformed scrambled egg patties, and sausage patties. The eggs were awful. So I was really hoping for some pancakes. When the young Hispanic lady at the front desk with piercings and tattoos finally showed up, I had informed her that the pancake dispenser was out of batter. She told me directly after that that it was 9 AM and she would be cleaning up the breakfast and it was over anyways. I looked at my watch and it was seven minutes till. I informed her that I had been waiting and it had been out for the last 15 minutes. To that she did not respond. Also in my room, I had grabbed the nightstand next to the bed and pulled it over towards the chair so I could have a little table to eat at while watching TV. Behind the nightstand, I found a 3 inch long, purple straw that I can only assume was used for doing drugs. Not a great experience."

"Clean room, easy parking, easy online checkin and checkout. Clise to Lassen National Park. Beautiful meadow outside of room with a creek flowing through. Mountain view. Nice tv, but I had to log in to my own Roku account to watch anything. Wifi was good. All in all a very good experience..We will definitely be back."
