"This is a mixed review.. We arrived a few days early for to tour that was starting two days later. The first room we were given was terrible. It was Room 407. Very hot even with the window open and this was in February. The air conditioner made a lot of noise. The bathroom while large had major problems. The bath/shower was missing a panel and the others were loose. (I asked one of the maids if it was missing a panel and she said it was.). To make matters worse, the toilet paper was located close to where the panel was missing resuting in wet paper. Stay away from any room that ends in a 7. I can only imagine how hot it must be in the summer. We were able to change rooms the next day. Street side is much better (even if you have to pay slightly more). The new room was fairly large, very clean and with a nice bathroom. The staff here is very good and is the location. The first night we got in late evening and decided to eat at the restaurant. We were the only ones in the room with a fantastic view of the Acropolis. The food was wonderful. I had the grilled squid and my husband enjoyed a braised veal. Don't expect this quality if your tour dines here. That meal so only so-so. The breakfasts are very good with lots of choices. If our first room did not have al these issues, I would definitely give this hotel a top rating. "
