This was a nice hotel, and within walking distance to everything you’d want to see in Athens. The staff were warm, inviting, and helpful. The rooftop restaurant had the best views of the city.

The room was clean, the staff was helpful, the restaurant overlooking acropolis snd temple of apollo. Braekfast was great, but the location is fantastic. Right next to plaka district with restaurants and shops along cobblestone streets. Just charmimg.

We stayed at The Athens Gate Hotel for two nights before boarding cruise ship. What a fantastic place to stay! Food is absolutely delicious, rooms lovely and comfortable, and the location is ideal for site seeing. I highly recommend.

The Athens Gate hotel is a great location for visiting many sites in Athens such as the Acropolis and Acropolis Musem. There's a lot of shopping and dining options close to the hotel as well. The reason for the 4 star rating is due to the old and tiny elevator in the hotel. But it's a great place to stay and convenient location. The free breakfast is also great.

I liked the location. It was our anniversary and I asked for a room looking at the acropolis. I also asked for a late departure and I was only given 30 minutes. Also the room that I was given was a low floor facing the loud traffic all night. Not acceptable.

Loved everything about this hotel. Staff, cleanliness, location, and the breakfast was amazing. Nice rooftop restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The staff are Very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was our room location. 2 floor facing the street. Bring earplugs. Loud traffic noise most of the night. I would Definitely stay again just another room.
