"Our stay at Amalia Hotel Athens was excellent, and we are especially grateful to the outstanding staff. During our trip from the United States to Athens, one of our checked bags was delayed due to airline mishandling and remained at Athens International Airport. Since we were scheduled to board a cruise the following day, it was critical that our luggage be located and delivered to the cruise terminal in time. Unfortunately, we had no contact information for the airport’s baggage service or the delivery company. The hotel front desk staff went above and beyond to help us. They patiently made multiple phone calls, tracked down where our luggage was being held, obtained the contact information for the delivery company, and helped coordinate the delivery. Thanks to their dedication and kindness, our “lost” luggage was successfully delivered to our cruise ship before departure. Their willingness to help turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a successful outcome, and we will always appreciate their exceptional service. Beyond the outstanding customer service, the hotel offered a great breakfast, a very clean and comfortable room, and an excellent location that made exploring Athens convenient. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens. The staff truly care about their guests and provide service that goes far beyond expectations.
