Just don't! We left after 15 minutes. See my photos... leaky-moldy radiator, filthy dirty linens. It was so bad, I couldn't even sit down while I called another hotel for reservations. In hallway on the way to the room, was the exercise equipment - taped together and obviously not usable. This place needs alot of repair and updating. IF you stay, bring sleeping bags. Even though we prepaid, we just couldn't stay.

Bed was uncomfortable. Air conditioner didn't work. It was my first time in Madrid so it was difficult to locate the hotel as there was a big sign like a normal hotel would have. I called the front desk to ask for directions and she acted like i'm a local that's suppose to know where the hotel was at. When I finally found it, I checked in and she made some smart remark to me like I was an idiot because I couldn't find the hotel easily. I would never stay there again although the location was great.

I spent two nights here and was pleased with the space of a delux room, everything was functioning. Slight noise from other guests that could be heard but overall a good city hotel. Conveniently located in gran via. I would come back.

What a disappointing last night in Spain. What a dump. The only thing going for it is location as it’s in a very busy shopping district. Be aware it’s also a red light district so lots of sexworkers plying their trade. If you heavy luggage there’s a flight of stairs you have to navigate unless you ask reception to meet you off the elevator. You have to ask for the remote to the a/c AND the tv when you check in as they are not left in the room. NO hair dryer. There is a safe in the room but it costs 1euro each time you use it. Only coffee machine is in reception. Seriously you can find better accommodation than this! Really thought “ hostal” was a description lost in translation.... turns out “ hostal” is means “ traveller beware”!

Hotel situated in Gran Via, right in the commercial district and just outside the metro station. Very quiet despite the location as the room I was in was at the 9th floor. Basic hotel but I didn’t really require much as I just came back to sleep and shower. Only downside was no sockets in the room aside from one in the bathroom!
