Location is amazing: in the heart of downtown. Transportation is within walking distance. There are two metro stations super close by, Callao and Gran Via. Also buses out front. The hotel is just a beautiful property, perfectly appointed with era-appropriate furniture and features while also modern conveniences and a gorgeous bathroom. It was isolated from street noise but you can hear noise from other rooms (I think it's the new normal). Great staff. Incredible buffet breakfast (which was optional).

A lovely, comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. It's within easy walking distance of all the main sights. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace. We would stay there again.

Very convenient location with stores and restaurants within walking distance. For the reservation being VIP access, the experience was mediocre. The entrance to the hotel is nice, just a very small lobby with limited waiting space. Our room was overall clean, the down sides were the thin walls as we could hear thuds, people coughing, and water running through the plumbing when someone showered or used the bathroom. Our window view was facing other walls so we kept our blinds and curtains closed the entire time. Our first night started off with an unpleasant experience. We’d traveled over 12 hours, were too tired to go out and dine inside a restaurant so had an idea to pick up some fast food and have dinner on their beautiful rooftop terrace. While we were eating, one of the employees came up to us and told us we weren’t allowed to eat outside food on the terrace adding “this is not a Burger King this is a hotel we cannot bring this food here”. The employee’s demeanor ruined our night so went to our bedroom and finished eating there. In my opinion a simple “Sorry we do not allow outside food on our terrace but you can finish in your room” would have been sufficient without the Burger King comment because I understand hotels have policies (I am not arguing about the policy but how the employee handled the situation). Lastly, I was surprised to find that we had to pay for breakfast as all hotels I have stayed at have been complimentary. We paid about 120€ total for breakfast.

Great place in the center of everything! Would definitely stay again! The only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars is because of a short behind the TV that killed the electricity to the entire room, but the man in the lobby was able to reset it the next morning!

Wonderful hotel everything was prefect for 15 nights. The staff was very pleasant and helpful the hotel was clean and elegant location was perfect. This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in and overall I think the best hotel in Madrid.

The Hotel Atlantico Madrid is a beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious, very comfortable bed, and large bathroom with 2 sinks. The hotel is centrally located, we could walk to all the places we wanted to see in Madrid, The only reason I gave the property 4 stars instead of 5 is that I would want future travelers to know we were on a very busy street, however the hotel is very sound-proof! It also had a very nice rooftop patio.
