My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Catalonia Puerta del Sol! The reception people were always kind and friendly. We felt very comfortable at the hotel. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the location of the hotel too, everything was walkable from the hotel. We especially liked the bartender, Belen, in the hotel bar. She was so fun and sweet! Do yourself a favor and book your stay asap!

Many Catalonia hotels on same road, was dropped at wrong hotel, walking in Madrid heat. Welcome here and front desk team were pleasant. Room bed wasn’t the most comfortable and bathroom is modern but please lubricate the door!, noisy to open and close rm 209. Had the Street view with good sound proofing. Does it get the come back?, no, many options available, does it get the nice hotel, yea.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly and informative. They were always ready to help us with our many questions. The room was a good size with plenty of storage space for two. For an additional fee, we enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast. The property was located within walking distance of the very lively Puerta Del Sol square with lots of dining and shopping options. The Metro stops are also within walking distance. We had a good stay and would go back.

This hotel was in a fantastic location, and it was super clean, comfy and up-to-date. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful! Definitely will stay here again.

We definitely recommend this hotel - it's beautiful, well maintained and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It's in a great location to everything - restaurants, museums, and many other things to do. We'll stay again next time we're in Madrid.
