When staying at the Galt House, it is all about the location. The hotel is much bigger than I realized and would be an ideal place for a large convention. It is right at the heart of everything there is to do in Louisville and comes with a decent view of the Ohio River. We had a perfectly nice night at the Galt House and the price was very respectable. I wouldn't call it one of Louisville's "best" hotels, but it is definitely in the upper tier. We would definitely consider staying again.

This is absolutely beautiful hotel. The parking kind of sucks as there’s not much of it and there is no close by elevators if you are traveling heavy also if you are traveling by motorcycle and only take up one parking space they will still charge you for two vehicles, even though you take up one space. Manager was not able to budge with accommodating that. But the view of you get a suit is well worth the parking, the food is amazing with 4 dinne tent restaurants and plenty of options. The staff is so friendly. Wi-Fi is okay. You have a slower connection “for free” or pay $10 more for a higher speed. Right on the water in the back of the hotel are ferry rides which is awesome if you want something to do with the family. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone passing through!

We like this property for its lication to walkability of Distillery Row/ Mainstreet. Had plenty of restaurants and bars in the hotel itself with plenty more in the general location overall a very nice property.

I attended the World Festival, which was right in back of the hotel on the Belveder, so it was very convenient to walk out the back of the hotel and be on the Belvedere. Loved it! Property as well as the hotel was very well kept. Although the rooms are very nice and clean, it could use some renovation. Enjoyed my stay!
