The property had mold/fungus growing on the ceiling above the kitchen sink from an obvious water leak. I contacted the host about the issue and he didn’t respond. We also had a problem with cockroaches in the unit. Again, the host was unresponsive to the issue.

Noise level

The property was clean. Noise level was unacceptable. We could hear people walking upstairs in the early morning hours. The complex is near several commercial buildings and on a busy street. You will not get a good nights sleep.

Good amount of space, but noisy

Good amount of space but the noise level was quite bad. The front door was very thin, so outside noises felt like they were coming from inside. Noise traveled super well in the suite so there was no privacy as my friend and I could hear everything the other person was doing or saying, no matter where we were in the suite. There were children above us running around and stomping starting pretty early in the morning and going till fairly late at night. Also our feet were getting sticky after walking around the suite so we had to wear slippers.

We love the place

Very good apartment, perfect location close to restaurants and easy to get in there. Amenities as described, we had everything we needed. I have just 2 comments for the place to be perfect: 1/We missed wine glasses and 2/the bed and mattress could be bigger and harder. But they were not bad, this is just our preference

BEWARE! AVOID STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY

BEWARE! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. As soon as we entered the apartment, all the windows were open and a fan was on full blast. The entire place smelled very strong weed smoke. We contacted Mario to see if we could receive any compensation for the issue, because they knew about it and didn’t give us a warning. We were staying there for a work trip and both don’t smoke so it bothered us. Mario offered us the option to leave the same night but no compensation. This wasn’t convenient, nor possible because it was already 9pm and we had full days of conferences booked. Mario offered to send the cleaners (not sure how they could have removed a smell that strong and stuck in all the furniture), however they never came. Mario then said he was waiting for management’s response to help us reach a reasonable solution. We asked for an update daily, only to be ignored every time. Mario ignored many texts and phone calls. He finally answered one day, 2 weeks after leaving and told us he was still waiting for managements response. We have given Mario ample time to respond and help us reach a reasonable solution, however he strung us along and ignored us. Beware of the terrible and completely useless management of these properties. If you need any help or have any concerns, chances are you will be lied to and ignored.

Great spor

The location was very convenient for visiting my son. I felt pretty safe around most of the blocks, but did find looking for a parking spot at 9/10:00 after a day of traveling and site seeing difficult. I was told plenty of street parking, but there are few open near our apartment.

Great location

Spot was comfortable and very suitable for us during our work/vacation. Despite the big fans, it gets pretty hot and stuffy in the apartment, so plan accordingly. But I would stay there again.

Nice place for a short visit

Pros: easy check-in, proximity to restaurants and beach, pet-friendly. Cons: street parking is up to chance which can be stressful, no AC in humid weather could be bad for sensitive groups/animals. We didn’t encounter any major issues and had a generally pleasant stay. Yes it was a little humid during the time we went, and there were some stomping neighbors and crying babies, but nothing crazy. The bed had a comfy topper, but the frame was very loud/creaky. Can’t say it was the best place, but it also definitely wasn’t the worst :)

Somewhat sparse but liveable

My partner and I stayed in this property for about a month. It is very sparse (very few plates/cups/cooking pans). The bed is very uncomfortable. I highly recommend bringing your own fans. We were able to use fans we brought- otherwise it would have been unliveable. The neighborhood is actually very nice and street parking was widely accessible. The tenants in nearby apartment and building were quite loud. The wifi was fast and TV was a nice bonus. Good amount of storage spac.e

Got the job done, helpful staff

Be sure to read the description to set expectations. This is definitely a bare bones stay so don’t expect much to be provided. That said, they do provide all the basics which was sufficient. The check in was a little rocky just in terms of the gas not working and the tv not connecting to the internet. But the property manager gave us a credit for the first night and also quickly fixed the issues the next day. And for those interested , the wifi is very fast at around 200mbps.
