"Sunset Strip's finest"
Wonderful hotel with excellent spacious rooms, fantastic staff and great atmosphere. If aesthetics and vibe matter to you, it doesn't get much better than this. As far as the basics go, the rooms are beautiful and clean. Our room overlooked the Sunset Strip and our balcony door stayed open the whole time because the view of the hills is so beautiful. Nothing but good things to say about The Standard Hollywood.

"Very nice but shortfalls given the money charged."
Very nice hotel and quite cozy. Front desk, concierge and parking very attentive. Had to ask multiple times to get housekeeping items sent to room. Also, was never provided wash clothes although constantly asked. If it happened one time would understand but not multiple times. The cons were very frustrating and took away from a good experience.

"Wonderful place to stay"
Great stay overall, great staff. Included breakfast, cheese/wine in eve, soda and cakes/cookies left out with coffee/tea. Felt like living at home and being able to help yourself to books, telescopes, towels/bikes/beach items. All I needed was my bathing suit and I was all set to enjoy the beach. I cannot wait to go back, so stress free.
