It was incredibly upsetting the hidden fess. We were quoted $365 for a room and were charged over $600. This place does exploit musicians by marketing as a musician haven and then price gauging. We should have canceled and gone somewhere else.

Room was cozy & clean, bar was best for drinks only, ambiance is music based, so it’s festive & fun. The surrounding area is best part, easy to walk to many lovely restaurants & shops nearby. You’re right on sunset blvd, so sitting outside is fun, watching night traffic! Staff was friendly.

There is a $150/night hold piut on your card at Check in that was not disclosed at time of purchasing. There is also a special tax that is specific to California that is also not mentioned. It would have been nice to have known this ahead of time. Also the shower runs out on the bathroom floor and causes the floor to be saturated. And the pool closes at 11pm even tho there is not a lifeguard there ever so what’s the difference.. it it was clean and staff was exceptional.
