The owners are very nice and kind. They said the beds were brand new, but ours was super hard and very uncomfortable. It took about 8 to 10 minutes to get hot water to the shower. The floors could’ve been cleaner, but not visibly dirty. I really liked the LED lights around the top of the room, that is what drew us to the hotel. The pictures are deceiving, they’ve done their best to remodel the rooms, but a lot of the trim is the original and has water damage. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, they happen to be two cop cars leaving the parking lot when we got there.
They did not have the ice machine working, they said it only is on during the summer. There was no table in the room, but there were two chairs. We heard several gunshots each night, which made us a bit uneasy. Again, the staff was extremely friendly. But I would not recommend staying there.
