My daughter and I booked a room for Friday night as we had attended the Great Christmas Feast at 13:00 held at the nearby Lost Estate. We did not check in until 16:30 from the outside the hotel is freshly painted and is on a very quite road. On checking in we were met with a welcominhg smile and given room 52 on the lower ground floor. Our room had a window which seemed to lead onto an alleway. The room had aircon which we used as it was quite warm. Our room had a double bed which was fine and spotlessly clean . There is a convenient local Sainsbury within a few minutes walk and we bought bottled water as there was none in our room. After our show we headed to the Hand anf Flower a local Fulleres pub we only had starters and a dessert. Ending our evening with a bottle of wine in the room and a Christmas film. We would happily stay here again.

During my stay, the elevator broke down while I was inside of it. It’s a small elevator and I am very claustrophobic, so when an individual unaffiliated with the hotel walked by, I asked him for assistance. He helped crack the door so I could get some air while we waited for hotel staff to come from home. The help button led me to an options list/announcement(?) that was all in italian, which I don’t speak (I believe this is probably typical considering it is a hotel and services foreigners) so I could not proceed with help from the manufacturer. To get me out of the elevator, the man who had passed by the elevator had to pry open the door (with some assistance from the hotel clerk, and I was able to crawl out. This was a difficult experience for me but I understand that technical errors happen and can be out of control of the property managers. However, without knowing why the breakdown occurred/the last time the elevator was inspected or serviced, it’s tough to know whose fault this was. The only time I was provided any follow-up was the same night as the incident when I was asked to show proof that I had called the helpline, as apparently the property manager was upset with the damage to the elevator. This felt impersonal and I was never given answers or checked in on. Also, construction on the elevator apparently started extremely early the next morning and was loud. Never was this addressed or apologized for. General attitude from the hotel was dismissive and uncaring

The room was tiny - well below the expectations of what one might usually get for a “classic double room”. Barely enough room to fit two suitcases and two carry ons and ourselves. Also - we paid for the breakfast but it did not show up in our reservation. It may be because of the rebrand that happened from Best Western to Four Points. But still, very frustrating.

I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed my time. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe both in the hotel and in my room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the whole place felt clean and modern. I also appreciated that reception is staffed 24/7. There’s a shop at the end of the road for water and snacks, and the tube line is close by, which was very convenient. A couple of things to note: I booked a double room and didn’t realise it didn’t have any windows. This wasn’t an issue for me - in fact, it helped me feel more secure - but some guests may prefer natural light. The bed was also on the smaller side; I’m 5'10" and my feet were hanging off the end, so anyone taller might find it uncomfortable. Overall, I had a great stay and would happily recommend this hotel or stay again.
