I liked the location and that the rooms were recently refurbished, clean, and modern with the largest Smart TV I have seen in any hotel thus far. However, some active renovations were visibly underway, and regular rooms felt too small and cramped compared to standard hotel rooms.

It appears to be a beautiful hotel, but it was under construction / renovations including the lobby area. The room appeared to be okay, however, there was no heat in our room despite trying to correct the thermostat. The temperatures were in the 30s - 40s during the stay, thus it was uncomfortably cold in the room. We discovered the window actually had an issue that allowed cold air to flow into the room. The other issue was that the room was directly above Victoria Station, so you heard both the morning music and loud speakers throughout the entire stay. If we had known of the sounds and more so had heat in the room we would have stated the stay was great. As it was, we stayed out of the room as much as possible to avoid the cold conditions.

We thought that the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean, and the breakfast was fabulous.

It is located in Victoria train station, so it was easy to get the train. Did not like the fact that the lift/elevator stopped on the ground floor which is one flight above the floor that led to the train station. This meant that we had to take several pieces of heavy luggage down a flight of stairs.
