"Fantastic Experience"
Hotel was clean and in the perfect location - close to all great sites in Lisbon. Also, close to Restaurdores train station for any day trips out of Lisbon (like Sintra). Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They gave me a great restaurant recommendation every night. Rooms were clean and quite spacious for European boutique hotel. And free wi-fi which worked perfectly in my room - a must for me! The only negative comment I could possibly make would be on the fitness center which is not really a fitness center as a small room with two cardio items. With that said, I'd definitely stay again if going to Lisbon.

The Solar Do Castelo stay was most comfortable and enjoyable. "Great Location"
I am a college student studying in Spain. A friend and I took a weekend trip to Lisboa and stayed at this hotel. It was a FANTASTIC location, and the rooms are more comfortable than to be expected based on the price. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They gave great suggestions and tips when asked. The only problem was that because it was such a great location, it was a little noisy at night. For us, it was no problem because we wanted to do the night life experience so by the time we got back the streets had died down a little bit, but regardless, if you pack ear plugs its perfect.

"Excellent location and service"
The location was excellent: with the downtown in a long but walking distance. The breakfasts were excellent with a good assortment of foodstuffs. The staff was helpful in directing us to the places we wished to visit. This type of hotel is not as "touristy" as more luxurious hotels, but allows you to interact more easily with the natives of Lisbon. This exactly what we wanted.
