Let's be honest, the view is what it's all about and in this category, 5 stars all the way! The view was absolutely amazing and the location was spectacular. The room and rest of the hotel though... The room was very dated and worn. Pieces of trim were missing, the sliding glass door jam was filthy and had a hard time sliding. The bathroom - the seat had the remains of the previous occupants last meal on it still if you catch my meaning. But a little disinfectant wipe cleaned that up. The deck chairs that were in the room were covered in bird droppings so unusable. The breakfast was basically non-existent. One working waffle maker for an entire hotel and nothing special. Basically the absolute bare minimum so that they can say they offer a breakfast. Now all of this sounds bad but don't get me wrong, I would absolutely stay again. The bed was comfy and the room was relatively clean outside of the issues above. The location is great and the views are stunning.

Siletz Bay Beachfront Hotel in Taft is one of our favorites! Great location to beach and restaurants. Love, Love the balcony view of the bay, ocean and sunsets! Always different and always special.

The mattress is very uncomfortable and I kept falling into a hole and it had no support at all. Also I'm handicapped and I came back from dinner at 9:00 at night and there was no parking spots either handicap or otherwise.

It was great for the price. Nice to watch the seals in the bay at high tide. The mini fridge was not clean, but no biggie. We prefer memory foam, but the sheets were nice. Overall, it was enjoyable. Will return.

Beautiful views and for the money it was a great experience. Only bad things were the Faucet wouldnt turn off in the bathroom, furniture was pretty worn and breakfast was pretty bad. Extremely stale cereal and bagels. Bed was comfortable and very nice sheets. Room was clean. Would stay again.

The breakfast was extremely limited. The room was clean, but the broken coffee table could stand to be replaced. The patio door wouldn't lock. Good thing we were on the 4th floor. The staff was friendly. We stayed here years ago, and it definitely has gone down in quality. Not terrible, but definitely a drop off.
