"the receptionist was lovely on arrival, check in was quick and easy. the hotel room itself was very spacious, and the bathroom was lovely. the furniture in the room was a bit dated, but overall a pleasant, quiet stay. would definitely recommend, great value for money."

"The long driveway builds great expectation, unfortunately, that’s where it stops. Overall the hotel is in desperate need of a full renovation. I believe I stayed in Woodlands, light bulbs were missing, mould on the windows and significant paint peeled off the bathroom windows. The carpet looked like it needed a thorough deep clean. The pool area was served by great friendly staff, if only that service was carried over o to the bar area and the breakfast staff. The pool area again, but s in need of a refresh, the roof is in poor condition with lots of rust visible. The evening meal was mediocre at best, The Hake was turning grey and the service was very inattentive even though the bar area was very quiet. However, the service from reception from check in and check out was great, just a shame about the rest."
