Under Construction, not clean.

Pros: The front desk people were very nice.
Cons: Cleaning and good service will be fine.
Location: It's Las Vegas, you can do a lot.
First day they give us a dirty room. Second day they forgot to clean our room they did not touch it. That wing of the hotel was being remodeled. There was dirt, and debris on the hallways and elevator leading to our room. The second day in the morning the emergency alarm was activated by accident by workers making all the elevators inoperable . They illegally cover at least one of the fire alarms with blue tape. Not safe. the day before we talk to them about refunding our next 2 days because it was very unpleasant to put up with all this turbulence. We certainly move to another hotel.

Not on Strip, but close enough

Pros: Location to Strip. Continental breakfast. Friendly staff.
Cons: My room appear to be a converted room, but it was okay (outside of being located next to an entrance side door).
Location: About a mille from the Strip. Hard Rock Café across the street. Hofbrauhaus next door. About 10 minute shuttle ride to the Strip and the airport.
Very nice accommodations with the continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Located about a mile from the Strip, so not near the hustle and bustle of the tourist. Shuttle bus gets you there quick or a nice walk to the Strip. Hard Rock Café right across from the hotel. Nice German restaurant (Hofbrauhaus) next door. 10 minutes from airport, so quick access for arrival/departure. Will stay there again.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Hyatt Place is a good value for the money. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfy. There was also a very nice pool. The free breakfast is above average and includes really good coffee. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My family really loved this place! Just a short overnight stay between flights, it proved to be an excellent place to relax, enjoy a healthy light breakfast and back to the skies again!

Great value for the price.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Just off the Strip, Hyatt Place has so much value for the price. Staff was exceptionally helpful, and the room was enormous in comparison to similarly priced hotels.

Nice place. Always predictable

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
We stayed here on a road trip from Dallas to Vegas and the place was nice. The rooms were huge compared to the other places we stayed on the trip and the sofa bed made it possible for us to sleep six in the room comfortably. The TV was in a bit of a strange place between the two "rooms" and it made it a bit uncomfortable to watch at such an angle. No matter where you go, the Hyatt place rooms all look the same, so you know what to expect. Clean rooms, good continental breakfast if you're up early enough, friendly staff, walking distance to food and shops. It's close to the airport and planes fly over all the time, but you can't hear them in the room at all, so that was no problem.

Great Place to Stay

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
This hotel is great for anyone attending an even at the Joint at the Hard Rock because it is literally across the street. Rooms were clean and quite. Free breakfast was very convenient. Shuttle to and from the strip as well as the airport...technically free but it's always nice to tip. I also took the public bus up from the strip - it was a bit of a walk, but not bad. There was also a CVS and sandwich shops just across the street. The price was great and overall I was very happy with this hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Great stay for the price.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, biggish room
Cons: Poor breakfast
Real friendly staff and decent sized room for the price. Lots of restaurants have sprung up close by and it's just a straight shot to the strip. We have stayed at Hyatt Place several times and always know we will have a quality stay. My only complaints was that the shower drain was really slow and the complmentary breakfast was not that good, but hey, it was free.

Very comfortable and great location

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, close to unlv
I chose Hyatt Place for my last trip to Las Vegas due to its location (proximity to University of Nevada, Las Vegas), the reputation of Hyatt, and recommendations from friends. I travel to Las Vegas twice a year on business. The prior trip I stayed at the Tropicana and was less than satisfied with my experience there, so I decided to give Hyatt Place a try. The hotel is very nice and serves a free breakfast with choice of fruit, cereals, etc. You can also order other breakfast items made to order for a reasonable cost. Hyatt Place Las Vegas is a few miles from the Las Vegas strip, immediately adjacent to the UNLV campus. There are also several restaurants and off-strip casinos within a block or two. I was very happy with my experience at Hyatt Place, and I plan on staying there next time I'm in Las Vegas.

Winter Vacation

I would not recommend this place, not sure how it rated 4 star while the room is so small, dirty and smelly. Really the free breakfast is useless because they close by the time we get up in the morning. Grand Dessert by Wyndham is were we used to stay...first time to use other hotel thought Hyatt was a decent to stay but unfortunately was an awful experienced.
