Beautiful property. On arrival as a gold member I would had preferred more signs indicating where we need to check in as I waited inline for 15mins to check in only to be told to go to another floor. Also the elevators were not clearly visible so we did get frustrated at getting list all the time. Other than that it was perfect

Front desk staff was pleasant at check-in. Room is nice but the view is of a dumpster. The toilet keeps running after flushed and TV signal is so bad that the picture is constantly glitching, making TV unwatchable. It’s our honeymoon, and we thought splurging for a night at the Fairmont would be a once in a lifetime occasion. Its been an underwhelming stay so far, but we’re enjoying Victoria

The Empress is a lovely property with the best location in Victoria. We had harbor view room with beautiful sunset views. The bed was super comfortable and all the amenities were top notch. I highly recommend upgrading to gold program which includes breakfast, canapés and desserts in the evening. The lounge and private balcony is amazing.
