I had a large and comfortable room by Japan standards. The hotel is close to Kyoto station and the subway. Lots of restaurants and shopping. A nice onsan is available too.

Fantastic location only a 10 minute walk to south entrance Kyoto station. Rooms were comfortable but basic.you can only plug in three devices at a time. Free welcome drink each night was fun. A way to meet other visitors. Staff was very helpful with any requests. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of item to choose from. Only improvement would be better exhaustion extraction system in the smoking room which is located right beside the lounge/common/breakfast tables. Unfortunately when smokers go in and out the smoke pours out into the public common lounge spaces. Or we found that smokers wanting fresh air would leave the door open. Maybe even an alarm that would signal that the door was left open would help? Also if you are a light sleeper make sure you book the rooms with a balcony then you will not be facing the busy road. No view from the balcony but it’s quiet.

This is a wonderful hotel, with extremely helpful staff. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Every night guests can have a free cocktail, between 6-10pm, and there is often live jazz in the lounge of the hotel where the drinks are served. Everyone was very kind. There’s a subway station right outside the entrance, making it ver easy to travel to interesting locations. I can highly recommend Sakura Terrace.

Our favorite stay out of our entire trip. The amenities from this hotel was marvelous. Free drink evening drink was something to look forward to always. Didn't use our bathtub once because we used the public bath every single night - equipped with a hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, and showers. Best way to relax after a long day. Rooms were comfortable, clean, well maintained, good lighting. Staff were very helpful. There was a luggage delivery service with this hotel for a fee. Kujo station was just beside the entrance, bus stop to Gion = easy access, 10 min walk to Kyoto station. Would come again.

Lovely hotel, we always return here when in Kyoto. A complementary drink daily, live music in the lounge and attentive staff. Casual jinbei and slippers provided daily and as well as this is an adults only hotel 👍. Very very close to the subway.

It is closer to Aeon mell by 13 minutes walk. The downside is that room are dirty the smallest refrigerator that is not working while is 40 degrees hot.our water bottles stayed warm and our food gonna spoiled. Clean the every 3days no Flatiron the Landry room on the 4th floor all of them was broken. I put my clothes for 2 hours didn't dried out. I hade to hang them out for two days in the room to get them dry. Just horrible 😞
