Flying Tips & Tricks How do I find my flight number?
  • When you've completed your booking, check your emails for your travel itinerary. Your flight number is recorded in this document. You won't have too many problems locating it — just keep an eye out for a code consisting of letters and numbers. The first one to two letters and digit are called an IATA airline code and represent the airline you're traveling with. Following this are a few other digits which make up your flight number.
How early can you check bags for a flight?
  • For international flights, check-in and luggage drop open around three hours prior to departure and close one hour before takeoff. For domestic flights, check-in and luggage drop open two hours before departure and close 45 minutes prior to departure. These times can vary between airlines, so make sure you check before you travel.

We were abandoned in Hanoi and forced to buy a return ticket when the authorities would not let us in the country due to a passenger on our flight was from Daegu district of South Korea. The least your airline could have done was transport us back to Seoul and rebook us to a different location.
