Stayed overnight on the drive from Edmonton to Vancouver Island. Room (and overall property) was dated and a bit beat up, but clean. Mattress was overly soft and needed replacing. Limited parking stalls - we had to park on the access road and were a bit worried about our car full of stuff. Extremely fine for our needs but probably won’t stay again.

Broken AC. Broke. Window. No Allergen knowledge.

We were placed in a room with a broken AC and broken window. A backup floor AC was in the room with a pipe sticking through the opening of the window. The area around the pipe was wide open. The room became very warm over night. In the morning the person serving at breakfast was unable to tell us if the eggs or sausages had dairy/milk or an other allergens in them. We opted to eat cold toast and packaged peanut better. It was served on paper plates with wooden cut. The view from the dining room was at least nice.

just ok

I have stayed here before. I stayed only a month ago. This time it cost me $150 more (for 2 days) and the room was unpleasant. The window was cracked and filthy the floor squeaked like a 1920s home, the bathroom door jammed all the time, and the grout in the bathtub was not clean. There was bits of garbage on every carpet in the building. I had enjoyed my stay there in the past so this was pretty disappointing.

The customer service here is exceptional- check in was easy and helpful. They noticed we had our bikes on our vehicle and offered to store them for us so we didn't have to bring them to the room. A nice little welcome gift and good breakfast. The hotel is not fancy, undergoing some reno's, but for the low price and exceptional service, it was totally worth it

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was also good. A bit noisy due to some functiom im the banquet hall and while someone is taking shower even in adjucent room. It would be a better experiemce if there was a pool.
