A great place to recharge

We stayed there for seven nights and absolutely loved the location of the property as well as the unit. Each morning we would sit on the lanai and read or eat breakfast. The view was so great it was almost hard to get going in the morning. If we go back to the Big Island we will try to get this property again.

Amazing Location

We originally were slotted for a different unit and due to some water issues we were swapped at the last minute. We are very grateful that they were able to accomodate at the last minute and we loved every minute of our stay here. It is in a prime location to accesing the North Kona side and the South Captain Cook side. Amazing views and the pools were perfect for the kids.

Wonderful Getaway location

Love this unit with a fantastic view! We brought our 10 month old baby on vacation and wanted a lanai with a view. Although this unit is right next to the public pool and people do wander into the lawn in front of the unit it does feel like you still have your privacy. Interior is nicely updated and beds are extremely comfortable! Will definitely look at returning for future trips!

A very nice stay with a gorgeous view

We loved the time we spent at this place, though being so close to the pool area - especially at sunset, makes it much less private. Overall, it was a great experience staying at this condo. WE super loved the 2 large wild turkeys that "held court" in the middle of the road on the street outside the property. Hilarious!

Beautiful location right next to the oceanfront pool/hot tub. Good view of the ocean and sunset from the lanai. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. There is even a wine fridge. Good sized bathrooms. Plenty of comfy lounge chairs at the pool with a great view of the ocean and umbrellas. Very close to a big shopping center with a lot of restaurants, a grocery store, a drug store, and a movie theater. Keypad on the door is easy to operate. It was clean and had all the linens we needed. They supply plenty of soap for hands, dishes, and laundry.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quiet complex with beautiful pools, friendly staff and location convenient to stores-Longs drugs (CVS) and KTA grocery-both had reasonable grocery prices and the condo had everything we needed to cook almost all of our meals. Very close to location of many snorkeling and manta tours. One beach you can walk to is right outside the complex but a bit rocky. About 1.5 mile walk to best snorkeling beach at Kahuna Beach. Plenty of towels and other supplies.

Oceanfront Living

The views donā€™t get much better than the view from the living area and lanai of this condo. We sat outside for morning coffee and after dinner drinks nearly every day listening to the waves. The complex is very nice and this unit is near the oceanfront pool. The condo itself is spacious and comfortable. The decor feels updated and the beds were very comfortable. The home is well equipped and the ac worked very well.

I have stayed in many units here at Kanaloa for the past 30 years. This unit is very nicely upgraded with some amenities that I have not seen in any other unit; the full wall glass door is outstanding. Awesome sunset views

This is a lovely ocean front unit! This unit has everything you need- well-supplied kitchen, pool towels, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, coolers, etc. Just bring your swimsuit and enjoy! We booked a manta ray night snorkel which was a short 5 minute drive. Highly recommend you include this activity. We all loved it (even though there was a little hesitation from a couple of members in our group). The sunset views were amazing! We will definitely be back!

Best VRBO rental weā€™ve ever stayed at! The pictures in the listing donā€™t do the view justice at all. Full oceanfront view with double-wide bi-fold doors. Great working AC. Clean and bug-free, which is tough to find on the islands. Amenities were great, too. Good working condition beach chairs and umbrella, baby floaty, cooler, large TVā€™s. The open walk-in showers were great too- super easy with all the washing up you do after beach or pool time. The access to the ocean-front pool was fantastic, too. Best pool on property is just steps from the unitā€™s front door. Weā€™d happily stay at this property again.

Perfect for our needs

Spent 10 days here with the family and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our unit was ready before check-in so the property manager let us check-in a few hours early which was nice. The unit was spacious and has a great view of the ocean (either with the lanai doors open or closed). Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. Rice maker and bean grinder were a plus. Brand new full size washer and dryer came in handy for washing beach towels and not having to pack as much clothes. There were no steak knives but a call to the PM resolved that and they brought them over that day. The Ocean pool next to the unit was closed for renovation which wasn't a problem as there are two other pools close by. In fact it made for quiet morning and evenings on the lanai with no one at the pool. The barbecue by the Ocean pool is in pretty bad shape and needs to be fixed (hard to light and one burner barely stays on). There are beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc. for the beach. Check-in and check-out process were seamless. We will definitely be coming back here again.
